The bus ride is long and you go through lots of twists and turns on narrow roads. Our guide was nice and gave a lot of good information on the area. I wish we would have skipped the breakfast and lunch stops to have more time at the actual beach since there is food options on site at the beach.

Long but worthwhile trip. There is a random stop before you get to the beach that every tour bus stops at. Place to buy coffee, snacks, and use the bathroom. 4 hours are dedicated to the beach. Adequate amount of time for the beach in my opinion. On the way back, every tour bus stops at the same random restaurant in a very small town. Great, authentic Greek food but can’t help but wonder what kind of deal the restaurant has with these tour companies. It was chaos when we first got there because another bus was finishing up eating and there were not tables available for our bus. Stella, our guide was very knowledge and provided us with a lot of information on the region. The AC on the bus barely works. It was a very hot day and a very uncomfortable bus ride in that aspect. Overall we’re glad we did the tour and would recommend to friends.

I booked one day before the trip and everything worked out pretty well. Pick-up was on time at the predefined location just 5 min walk from my hotel. The bus was clean, but nothing special, but the aircondition could have been a little more powerful, but it was ok. Stella, our guide was very nice and helpfull. A native Greek, her English wasn't perfect, but we understood everything without problem. We really had fun with her and she told us interesting stories throughout the whole journey. The 2 stops wer absolutely OK. Late lunch was very good and reasonably priced, against my expectations. Now to Elafonisi Beach. Yes there are many tourists, especially where the sun chairs are and there, the sand is not so pink anymore. But if you wander around and walk for 20 min, you can have a pink sanded bay of your own. I won't tell you exactly where you have to go, so that the paradise stays this way. Forget the shops, bars and kiosks. Highly overpriced. Toilets and showers are on location.
