What people are saying about Almunecar

Full-day, relaxing fun-filled day

You should do this - it was very good value for a 9-10 hour trip. We travelled in a comfortable air-conditioned mini-van with a small group of 8 people with a great guide, Maria, and driver, Jose. Nice scenic drive down the Tropical Coast, first stop was in Almuñecar for the San Miguel Castle, then a park and beach afterwards (Salobrena castle was closed for restoration so we didn't go there). We then headed to Nerja caves which were amazing, followed by a 'late' lunch on Nerja beach (lunch was at 3pm, which is quite late for non-Spanish folk). Food was OK, lots of it and quite tasty. All-in-all, a great day, we weren't rushed and had plenty of time to explore Nerja town after the caves, and Nerja beach after lunch.

Excellent trip. Great guide. Beautiful views.

Great guide. Very kind and accommodating. She spoke in both English and Spanish and made sure that every one is following up. We asked for vegetarian food and they ordered special pailla just for us. Great value for the price. The trip could use more cultural commentary but as it is now a great way to spend a day. Pickup and drop off were on time. Highly recommended

Great trip

Everything went well. The bus was comfortable, the trip varied and well organized. Many thanks to Maria, our tour guide for her kind support throughout the day - English and Spanish! An interesting and unforgettable day!

Our guide Luiz

Luiz put together a very special day for us. Sun, despite rain in Granada, a gorge, gardens, stalactite cave, sea, fine lunch by the sea and at the end a beautiful white village in the mountains. Just great!!

Worth every minute of the drive from Granada!

The guide was knowledgeable and personable. She presented all there was to see.......maybe the "breaks" were a bit long.
