We had a great time snorkeling! Went to 3 different locations and then a sand bar for snacks. Our guides seemed knowledgeable. When you get to the marina it is not really identifiable where you need to go. But there is a May-be store front you need to check in at. We would recommend it to others. They do NOT allow any sunscreen while on the excursion. Definitely wear a UV swim shirt.
Our guide Pablo was fantastic! Our driver Federico, too. The site of Akumal, where we saw the turtles was full of rubbish and plastic on the beach, full! Such a pity when you consider that we pay USD 40 for entrance or tax fees. They could use this to clean the beach…
Highly recommend this fun excursion! Well run-very professional and especially recommended for beginner snorkelers It was guided and also free time for snorkeling is provided!!.
Perfect trip! It was a long day but very worth it. We chose the hotel pick up option. They were very efficient and friendly guides. Thank you Thomas.
