Your 4-hour journey takes you on a voyage of exploration through the mangroves of Langkawi, to discover exotic plants and animal species. Many of them survive by ingenious methods in a dynamic environment of constant change, dictated by the rise and fall of the tides. Following a short drive to the jetty, get on board a boat and explore the mangrove forests and ancient limestone outcrops of the northeast of the island. Mangrove forests play an essential part in maintaining the ecological balance of the world. They influence the climate, provide shelter, and act as major nurseries for fish and shrimps. As you drift through the mangroves, look out for the bizarre land walking fishes. Watch out too for bright flashing kingfishers, and look up to see eagles and kites. If you are very lucky, you might see curious otters and playful dolphins. And don’t forget the little critters, however creepy and crawly they might seem. They are all playing a vital role in this unique environment. The optional lunch is a fixed menu comprising of chicken fried rice and iced drink of the day. The tour includes a 30-minute beach stop, dependent on sea and weather conditions. The total length of the tour is 6 hours, including the 2-hour round-trip transfer from your hotel.

Arrive at the Base Station which is conveniently located in the foothill of the Machincang Mountain. From here, ascend up the slopes via the cable car system admiring the spectacular flora and fauna that surrounds the area as you ride. When you reach the intermediate cable car station on the eastern ridges, admire the incredible 360-degree views over the eastern cliffs and the 3 vertical chimneys. The journey from the Base Station to Middle Station will cover 1,700 meters in distance. Upon reaching the Middle Station at an elevation of 650 m above sea level, alight and walk up to the viewing platforms. Spend an exciting 4 hours exploring 8 beautiful islands of Dayang Bunting on your very own jet ski. Jet skiing is the most fun way to explore the islands and after a short tutorial you will be free to skim across the surface of the tranquil waters at your own pace. One of the islands is home to an active monkey population that you will see playing amongst the trees as you approach. Then, float along as you discover the island's fresh water lake- the largest in Malaysia. Pregnant Maiden lake is so-called because of the outline of hills and rocky outcrops resembling the shape of a pregnant maiden lying on her back. Then swim in its fresh water, which legend has it promotes fertility. During the 4 hours, you will have the opportunity to take part in a wide range of activities. Leave your jet skis and trek through the abundant jungle, or jump in a kayak to further discover the waters surrounding the island. Your tour begins bright and early, your guide picking you up between 8:30 and 9:00 AM, en route to the Langkawi jetty. As you head to Pulau Dayang Bunting, the first island on your itinerary, you’ll stop along the way to feed Langkawi’s famous eagles, who will dive majestically into the water to retrieve pieces of chicken that your boatman chucks off the side of the boat. After the 20 minute ride, you’ll arrive at the unspoiled paradise of Pulau Dayang Bunting, known for its vast freshwater lake, surrounded on all sides by forested mountains. Rent some paddle-boats, snorkel, or just have a leisurely dip in the lake — it’s up to you. After exploring the area and taking in the lush vistas, head back to the boat, bound for Pulau Singa Besar. One of the more untouched islands in the Langkawi archipelago, keep your eyes peeled for freely roaming peacocks, monkeys, and prehistoric monitor lizards as you wander the verdant beach. The last stop on your tour is Pulau Beras Basah, a tiny island prized for its soft sand beach, replete with palm trees and crystal clear waters. Relax during your hour of free time, or wander down the pier for a better view onto the tropical sea. Afterwards, you’ll hop back onto the boat, reflecting on the island splendor of Langkawi as you head comfortably back to your hotel.

After this, set off to explore darkened bat caves and seeped in fabled tales of mysteries and romance. Visit a floating fish farm in a secluded cove surrounded by high vertical limestone and granite cliffs. After this, the boat will make your way back to the jetty and the driver will drop off from where you started from.

Depending on the tidal conditions, you can begin the tour at the coast and make your way upriver through the lush Kilim Karst Geopark, or begin upriver and float down to the coast through a network of meandering river passages. Along the way, stop to explore the mysteries of the Bat Cave, or to observe some of the many exotic plants and animal species adapting ingenious ways to thrive in a habitat dictated by the ebb and flow of the ocean tides, including kingfishers, herons, mudskippers, and monitor lizards. After about 1.5 hour into your kayaking adventure, arrive at a local fish farm/floating restaurant where you can enjoy an optional lunch (if you select the option with lunch). Savor locally prepared ingredients including seabass and refreshments. Once you've finished your lunch and had a short rest, begin the leisurely journey back to your hotel.
