St Paul's Bay: Blue Lagoon, Beaches & Bays Trip by Catamaran
- Duration options: 5 - 6 hours
Depart from the Bugibba Jetty and begin your cruise along the northern coast of Malta. Pass by all of the sights including St. Pauls Islands and the statue of St. Pauls, and Ahrax Point. Continue cruising through the north channel of Comino as you pass by the elephants head, Santa Maria Bay, St. Nicholas Bay, and the Comino hotel. Make quick stops to enter inside both Ahrax Cave and Santa Maria Cave. Throughout the journey, Kevin and his father, Captain Joe, will inform you about the sites and give you information regarding Malta. After approximately 1 hour, arrive on Comino island in the famous Blue Lagoon. The boat will moor up and you can enjoy a stop of 4.5 hours. During the time, feel free to use all the facilities on board the boat or get off and explore the island. Relax and sunbathe on the top deck or find some shade on the main deck. It was lit. Get there an hour earlier to get deck chairs on top deck especially if you are a group of more than one (so you can sit together). Boat trip is worth it! (10 euro extra). Food on deck is a good price (cheeseburger 4 euros) and really decent.
Your tour begins from the tourist town of Bugibba, where your modern and stable catamaran departs on an unforgettable two-island cruise. From the open sea, you will experience Malta from a truly unique and beautiful vantage point. Cruise close to the coast whilst witnessing Malta’s magnificent naturally formed coastline, including its enormous cliffs, rocky nooks, and crannies. You will pass the tiny Island of St. Paul’s, viewing the statue of the apostle St. Paul as it rises high into the sky. You will also get to visit magnificent sea caves, allowing you the opportunity to take amazing photographs. In the morning (during high season), you will stop for 1 hour at the stunning Crystal Lagoon, a spot many tourists don't know about. The lagoon is fringed by steep cliffs and only accessible by boats. Witness the unbelievably clear water, perfect conditions for swimming, snorkeling, and div...
I will recommend it to my friends. The boat stopped on the best spots. Enough time to see Blue Lagoon, Gozo and Crystal Lagoon. I would recommend to have a guide tour in Gozo in the pack. It was worth the money. Perfect to see everything in one day. Mostly had young adult people, so for me was a plus traveling by myself.
After boarding the catamaran, the first stop will be the Blue Lagoon. The boat will drop anchor away from the crowds, so you can experience the famous turquoise water in peace. During this stop, you can enjoy an optional barbecue. The stops after the Blue Lagoon will depend on the weather. It might be possible to head to the Crystal Lagoon, surrounded by steep dramatic cliffs. Its crystal clear waters are much deeper than the Blue Lagoon, making the area fantastic for snorkeling and swimming in and around the caves. If there is an easterly wind, it’s likely that you’ll visit Ghajn Tuffieha. This is a beautiful rural area, home to a chain of pristine sandy beaches called Golden Bay, Riviera Beach, and Gnejna Bay.
On the way back from Ghajn Tuffieha, an additional stop will be made to discover the film set of Popeye’s Village, tucked away in a charming bay. Other stops ...
If anyone going Malta would definitely recommend sunset worth every penny...Great experience

Admire the façade of St John's Co-Cathedral, visit Piazza Regina, see the magnificent Bibliotheca Nazionale and much more.
Great informative walking tour. Matthew was very knowledgable and chose his spots very carefully to make sure we were comfortable in the heat. Valletta is small so there’s quite a bit of standing listening rather than lots of actual walking, but lots of interesting history.
Your combination tour begins with pickup from your hotel from where you will be taken to the Gozo Ferry for a 20-minute crossing from the island of Malta to Gozo. Once arriving in Gozo, your experience may start with either the jeep tour or the boat trip. Enjoy lunch between your activities. On the jeep tour venture to a high point to view the Three Islands of the Maltese Archipelago. Following that, you will drive through the valleys and back streets to discover the real island, as you pass through areas where no bus or taxi can pass. The advantage of the jeep is that you have a driver for every 5 to 6 people, allowing the trip to be very personal. As lunchtime approaches, it will be time to stop into a local restaurant for a freshly-prepared buffet lunch, all washed down by some chilled Gozo wine and local fruit. On your boat trip board your wonderful twin-masted schooner for a lovely...
Awesome cruise- so worth the little money spend. The ride with the already a bit old jeeps is very adventurous but it was also a lot of fun. I found the stops too short. The jeep driver and boat staff are nice.
Absorb spectacular views of the stunning Maltese coastline on a full-day cruise from the Bugibba Jetty. Soak in the beauty of the twinkling Mediterranean Sea as you cruise past Mellieha en route to Comino island. Discover the magic of the famous Blue Lagoon cave in Comino, and take a golden opportunity to swim, snorkel, and dive in the crystal-clear waters of the Mediterranean. Feel the adrenalin rush as you dive from the boat, and explore the idyllic landscape of Comino. Relax in comfort, as you enjoy the inclusive lunch and snacks onboard the boat. Make sure to have your camera at the ready as you sail through the beautiful Comino channel beside other incredible caves such as Giant Octopus cave, Open-Top Face Cave, and the Crystal Lagoon. Take a last dip in the blue waters beside the historic islands of St Pauls, before cruising back to Bugibba to take in the sunset.
The crew was friendly. The tour itself was very nice. The fact that the boat is smaller allowed us to get a closer look at some caves. Also, there is much less people then on most of other boats which makes it more comfortable.
Get an adrenaline rush on a one-of-a-kind adventure tour for thrill seekers. Be taken to the beautiful island of Gozo by powerboat to avoid the queuing at the ferry terminal and experience it all from a different perspective. Ride around the island on a Quad Bike in the company of very experienced tour leaders. See all the highlights of the island, from the stunning viewpoint of the Qala Belvedere and the rugged landscapes of the Simar Valley and Ramla Valley. Go to Calypso Cave and the village of Marsalforn. See the Traditional Saltpans and drive through the Ghasri Valley. Discover the incredible Inland Sea of Dwejra and the small islet of Fungus Rock. Take a swimming break and get some time to shop. Then, take a powerboat back to Malta via the Blue Lagoon and Comino Caves.
The full-day quad bike tour of Gozo was amazing!! The whole tour was organised to perfection: we have been picked up outside our hotel in Sliema, and dropped at the harbour to the boat to Gozo. We got to see most of Gozo, that's magical! I would definitely recommend it, especially if you are travelling between January and March, as the island is greener (but the sun is still shinning) and less tourists at this time of the year.

new stylish boat (katamaran) with lots of sunbeds and seats (sun and shadow). friendly crew, nice drinks and cocktails for a fair price. BBQ (optional) was tasty & freshly prepared on board and a nice option after swimming.
Very enjoyable trip! Places we stopped for swimming and snorkelling were lovely. Plenty of fish to look at underwater! :) Friendly staff and a nice new boat - clean and comfortable.
Great tour!! Takes you to all the well known swimming spots. Definitely get the add on barbecue as you will get very hungry.
It really was a wonderful day! Me and my daughter enjoyed it very much. It is really recommended for everyone.
Much better than expected. The guide explained everything so that was easy to understand.
