If we find the aurora we will stay in that spot to capture it for a longer period of time. If there aurora disappears we will drive to a new location in the local area. The guide brings experience, a positive attitude, snacks, and warm lingonberry juice. Bring warm clothes and dreams of seeing the aurora in your heart.

Embark on a guided snowmobile tour to the Torne River valley and the surrounding forests. Meet your guide and get a safety briefing before setting off on your snowmobile adventure. Drive in small groups on tracks that are maintained by your guide. Stop in a cabin or camp in Väkkäräjärvi to enjoy a moment of silence and warmth. Experience the authentic taste of the traditional Sami dish, ‘souvas,’ prepared with vegetables. This delightful meal, made from lightly smoked reindeer meat, is cooked over an open fire in a large dish at the center of the room, following the old Sami traditions. As the aroma fills the air, your guide shares fascinating stories about the Swedish Sami people and the rich history of Lapland, as well as about life in northern Sweden. With the fire crackling and the serene surroundings, find this dinner experience very enjoyable. Relax and enjoy the warmth of the fire and the delicious food as you await the magical northern lights. Once you are satisfied and full, head out in minibuses to find the perfect spot to view and photograph the aurora. Stop as soon as you spot it, ensuring plenty of time for photos. Guides are on hand to help you capture the perfect shot. Patience is key, as the northern lights can take time to appear. Return to your meeting point with unforgettable memories at the end of your tour.

Learn how to handle the dogs yourself on this sustainable method of transportation that dates back to 1980 BC. Take a well-deserved break next to an open fire in a Nordic tent. Get started in Kalixforsbron, where you will meet the dogs and get dressed in the warm winter clothing and shoes that are provided. Learn how to handle and harness the dogs. Benefit from a detailed safety briefing before heading off into the snowy landscape under the sparkling polar night sky. Work together with the well-trained huskies while being pulled through the white blanketed wilderness along the Kalix River. Afterward, warm up around an open fire in a Nordic ten with a traditional Swedish Fika.

Discover the arctic nature in daylight by driving a dog sled through the fresh morning snow. After picking you up from Kiruna town, we will take you to our home in Kalixforsbron, where you will meet our dogs and get dressed in warm winter clothing and shoes that we provide. You will usually be taught how to handle and harness the dogs. Two participants share one sled and take turns steering and sitting. For your and our huskies safety, a detailed instruction is given by the guide before heading off into nature. We cross frozen lakes, traverse through silent forests and sweeping marshlands while looking out for local wildlife. With some luck, you can spot reindeer, moose, arctic hares, or even “Ripa” the Ptarmigan which is Kiruna's official bird. Make sure to bring a camera as this tour is great for pictures! Back home we will warm up around an open fire in our Nordic tipi with hot soup and sandwiches as well as traditional Swedish Fika. Afterwards we will bring you back.

Experience the thrill of dog sledding in Kiruna with the ease of a round-trip transfer from Abisko. After a scenic bus transfer to Kiruna, you'll meet a team of enthusiastic sled dogs ready to take you on an unforgettable ride through the Arctic wilderness. During the dog sledding adventure, your professional musher/guide will drive a sled that accommodates up to four guests. Having a professional musher drive the sled ensures the highest levels of safety for you, and allows healthy guests of nearly all levels of physical ability to enjoy this once-in-a-lifetime dog sledding adventure. While your professional musher controls the team of dogs, you can sit back, relax, take lots of pictures, and enjoy every second of your time in the Arctic wilderness. Approximately halfway through the dog sledding adventure, you will stop at a remote Arctic wilderness camp where your guide will prepare a warm fire, piping hot drinks, and classic Swedish Fika. An example of what might be served is a warm cup of coffee or tea and steaming cinnamon rolls. Here, you’ll also have the chance to interact with the sled dogs, give them a well-earned belly rub, and capture memorable photos before heading back to the starting point. After your adventure, we’ll return to Abisko, giving you time to reflect on this once-in-a-lifetime experience.

Join a day trip from Kiruna to explore the natural wonders of Abisko and Björkliden. Visit the Abisko National Park, see the Silver Waterfall, and enjoy a walk on the frozen lake. Start by visiting Abisko National Park, renowned for its stunning landscapes and outdoor activities. Here, have the chance to see the beautiful river canyon, a must-see with its dramatic cliffs. Next, head to the charming village of Björkliden, where you can enjoy spectacular views and a relaxing atmosphere. Visit a local hotel in Björkliden, where you’ll have lunch. Stop at the beautiful Silver Waterfall, offering a perfect photo opportunity. When the lake freezes, take a walk on it, heading towards the islands and ice-covered trees. Snowshoes will be provided if needed.

We will pick you up in the centre of Kiruna and take you by car to our reindeer farm in the village of Rávttas, 20 km northwest of Kiruna town. Some of our family's reindeer are fed and cared for in a corral during the wintertime. You will get close to them and feed the tame reindeer by hand. We will walk together through a winter wonderland with the sledding reindeer. We will give you some instructions before you go for a short ride on your own with the reindeer sled. You will also get a chance to experience other parts of our culture with lassoing like a reindeer herder and skiing the sami way. After the ride and activities we'll return to our farm and enjoy a lunch with ecological, smoked, and fried reindeer meat (suovas), bread, and coffee in the lávvu. You can ask questions and listen to stories as you relax around the fire. After the tour we will take you back to the city centre.
