Jackson Hole: Aerial Tram and Gondolas Admission Ticket

Jackson Hole: Aerial Tram and Gondolas Admission Ticket

Enjoy a scenic 12-minute ride to the summit of Rendezvous Mountain, offering unparalleled views. Listen to information on the history of the tram and resort, and even keep a look out for sightings of moose, bears, or other native animals. The Jackson Hole Aerial Tram will take you 4,139 feet up, to the "Top of the World" where you can take in breathtaking 360-degree views of the Tetons, Jackson Hole Valley, and the surrounding mountain ranges. The tram lets off right next to Corbet's Cabin, a small cabin at 10,450 feet above sea level. Here you can treat yourself to a coffee, hot chocolate, and world-famous gourmet waffles. After enjoying your waffle with a view, explore the area via an expansive trail network connecting Jackson Hole Mountain Resort, Bridger-Teton National Forest, and Grand Teton National Park. The tram ride will take you right to the high-alpine hikes, without the 4,139 vertical feet trek to the top. This allows you to save your time and energy for the other exciting activities offered at Jackson Hole Mountain Resort, including downhill biking in the JH Bike Park, guided climbing adventures on the Via Ferrata, an aerial ropes course experience, and more. During peak season, your sightseeing ticket includes access to not only the Jackson Hole Aerial Tram, but also the Bridger Gondola and Sweetwater Gondola. You are also welcome to enjoy evening rides on the Bridger Gondola (open Sunday to Thursday only). This is the best way to end your lively day at the mountain, providing the best spot to take in an alluring sunset vista while you cap off your day with drinks and appetizers on The Deck.

Jackson Hole: Bridger-Teton National Forest Horseback Ride

Jackson Hole: Bridger-Teton National Forest Horseback Ride

Join professional wranglers on a 2-hour or 4-hour horseback ride through the trails of Bridger-Teton National Forest on this tour from Jackson Hole. See stunning views of the Grand Teton mountain range and ride along a winding river. Start your adventure at one of the oldest dude ranches in the USA. Choose between a 2-hour ride or extend your wilderness adventure with a 4-hour tour. Meet your wrangler and guide, and get your riding gear.  Before heading to the trails, meet your friendly horse and learn how mount and dismount. Practice handling your horse with the reins and learn to control how fast your horse trots and how to stop, start, and steer. Take a test trot on the ranch property. Venture into the Aspen Tree Groves on horseback. Ride through the Bridger-Teton National Forest, looking for wildlife and local flora. Follow the horse trails and admire panoramic views of the Tetons.  Continue down into the Buffalo Valley to ride along a lazy river. Return to the ranch with a deeper connection to nature and an understanding of the Wild West.  When the wranglers load participants onto horses we will match the best horse for each rider for safety considerations we therefore can not allow you to pick horses. During the loading process we must take the time to care for the horses and make smaller groups of riders. Group sizes average approximately 10 riders and it can take over an hour to load all of the groups safely and care for the horses, so please be patient and expect this process to take some time. We appreciate your patience.

As you drive past Shoshone Lake, one of the park’s best-kept secrets, we’ll fill you in on Sacagawea’s connection to the park and give you the real story you probably haven’t heard. Then it’s on to the world-famous Old Faithful, where you’re guaranteed to see a spectacular show. We’ll also take you to all the other geysers in the area, which are as impressive as their famous cousin. After that, try not to let your jaw drop too low when you see Grand Prismatic, the largest hot spring in the United States and the most colorful. We’ll give you a glimpse into the microscopic life that thrives in the extreme heat and explain how they brew beer and help solve crimes. No, really! Next, we’ll stop by the Fountain Paint Pot, the most colorful mud field you’ll ever see, and reveal the secrets of Yellowstone’s “Zone of Death.” Then it’s on to the tremendous Gibbon Falls and the Norris Geyser Basin, Yellowstone’s hottest basin. We’ll hear about how this place offers a window into the earliest life on Earth and the men who first charted this fascinating land. Cross Yellowstone’s Golden Gate Bridge to reach the Mammoth Hot Springs, the most accessible place to spot a herd of elk. As you continue toward a pair of staggering waterfalls, we’ll put your mind at ease about the still-active supervolcano directly beneath you and let you enjoy the views. Check out a tree so old it’s turned entirely to stone, then hear about President Theodore Roosevelt’s eventful trip to Yellowstone.
