Had the best day today visiting Ancient Olympia. The museum was lovely with lots of artifacts to see what life was like in Ancient Greece. We skipped the winery and made sure to visit Klio’s Honey Farm. Ms Klio had so much information about beekeeping and the honey and hospitality was superb!! What really made our day exceptional was our guide Georges, who was awesome. He was respectful of my walking limitations and got us as close to places as possible to limit my walk. He had lots of information and when we asked for an authentic Greek restaurant, he took us to a local place away from the crowds and the food was excellent. He really made our welcome to Greece…AMAZING and we are so appreciative!! Highly recommend.

The guide should use a microphone AND participants should have a box with earphones. It was VERY difficult to hear the guide (except on the bus). In the information about the excursion explain how far it is necessary to walk including distance from the cruise ship to the bus, bus to the Olympia park, distance to the Museum, AND walking within the museum. Explain that much of the walking is on stones and uncomfortable surfaces.

Our guide was a true professional. There was about 30 in our group with some very elderly people. Olympia was an extremely busy site, but he was able to keep us all together without anyone getting lost. He was able to answer any questions. He was very polite and made the trip stress-free.

Loved seeing the factory and the people were very nice!! Our guide Demetrius was terrific and went above and beyond for us! Highly recommend!

Bus transfer from the port to Olympia - Funnily enough, we were the only passengers in the big coach
