Firstly I would like to say that we had a fantastic tour. Our driver, Dimitris, drove us well from place to place and acted as a tourist guide in between. The description in the version when we booked the tour was a bit confusing. It says "skip the ticket lines". The tickets are valid for the museum and the archaeological site. Tickets can be purchased at the museum ticket office or online. Our tour started very early, so there was no queue at the ticket desk. There were no queues to speak of at the entrance to the archaeological site. My recommendation: If you also want to visit the museum, you should get there very early (we were there at around 09:00). Without visiting the museum, I would buy the ticket online in advance next time (the description of the excursion should be corrected here!). For the actual Olympia area, you should buy a travel guide if necessary and plan a tour of the area in advance. We enjoyed the visit and the recommandation of a local restaurant (Thallo).

It was an exceptional experience which enabled usctobfully immerse in ancient Olympia. Highly recommended if you aim to bring dead stones to life!
