Make an early start from Barcelona and soon be in the medieval Catalan village of Baga, surrounded by the rocky peaks of Cadi-Moixero National Park. Explore Baga’s central square and medieval church before crossing the border into France, where you will stop in the charming and beautiful ancient spa town of Ax-Les-Thermes. Your guide will recommend some of the best natural fountains to visit, and those best suitable for soaking your feet in. You'll then have free time to enjoy the healing waters, browse the local artisan shops and look out for a souvenir to remember your visit. After an hour of wandering around this typical French village, its time to choose from one of the many local restaurants for a traditional French lunch.  After lunch, you’ll take the scenic route over the Pyrenees Alps into neighboring Andorra, to the capital Andorra la Vella. We will stop at the border control in the high mountain pass, and get you that all important passport stamp. Afterwards, we will stop again for breathtaking views of the mountains, and a chance to get some unforgettable pictures. From there we will head down to the capital, where you will have a little bit of time to visit Andorra la Vella’s tax-free shops for bargain-priced wines and souvenirs. On the return drive, admire the Romanesque church of St. Climent and the stunning valley views before continuing on your way back to Barcelona, arriving in time for pre-dinner drinks and tapas or whatever else your evening holds.

See the Catalonian historic city of Vic from a unique perspective as you glide through the sky on a hot air balloon ride. This is a perfect tour for anybody wanting to truly escape the city and immerse themselves in nature. From Barcelona, take an exciting and picturesque journey into one of the world's most famous mountain ranges. Depart Barcelona in the morning and head north towards the Pyrenees. Along the way, stop for a short but sweet break in the medieval town of Vic.  In keeping with the philosophy of giving you as much time as possible to explore on your own, head first for the Market Square where the guide will give you an introduction to the town and suggestions of what to see. You'll have plenty of time to stroll around the town center. See the grand cathedral and some magnificent Renaissance and Baroque buildings, or simply relax while having breakfast in the heart of the town: a beautiful arched square (one of the biggest in the country) where the market and other major events are held. The visit to Vic coincides with traditional market days, something which has been taking place every week for over a thousand years! From Vic, continue up to the Pyrenees. Before boarding the train, briefly visit Queralbs, which, at an altitude of 1,236 meters (4,055 feet), is the last vehicle-accessible village on the way up to the mountain valley destination. This tiny mountain village has a population of only 200 permanent residents living in a rambling collection of traditionally-built stone houses. Perched on the side of the mountain, this impossibly quaint hamlet is one of the most memorable parts of the day. See the Church of Sant Sadurní de Fustanyá, built from stones so perfectly-hewn that legend says it was built by the fairies and witches said to inhabit the surrounding caves. From Queralbs, take the last 6 km (4 miles) of the impressive rack railway up to an altitude of 1,964 metres (6,443 feet) and into the stunning mountain valley of Vall de Núria. Thanks to the mountain railway, you’ll be able to get high into the mountains with no effort at all. If you love hiking, then ask the guide to show you some routes, as there's something for everyone. In the valley you’ll also find a sanctuary, originally built to house pilgrims to the valley, and which takes its name from the Virgin de Núria. Her image, buried in the earth, was reputedly unearthed by a very persistent ox! You can even try horseback riding, open-air bowling, archery lessons, crazy golf, or boating on the lake. Another option is to enjoy some of the traditional Catalan dishes available in the valley’s restaurants. From Queralbs, the return trip to Barcelona begins, and you'll arrive back in the city in the early evening.

After 50-minute drive from Barcelona we first visit the Benedictine Abbey, first built on the 11th century and home to Catalonia’s Patroness Saint, The Black Madonna, a strong symbol of spirituality and unity for the local people. After, we hike up to the top, from where we enjoy the stunning views from the Natural Park of Montserrat and the rest of Catalonia from a bird´s eye view. Mediterranean Sea, main valley of the country and the Pyrenees further away, drawing the border with France. During the hike we will walk on the same paths used by pilgrims hundreds of years ago, we will get inspired by Montserrat’s fascinating flora and fauna and we will experience unique ways where rocky pillars and ravines show us how inner mysterious water emerge from the hidden and undiscovered very center of the massif. Back down in the Monastery area, we have some free time where you can browse amongst regional products in the local farmer’s market before we head back to Barcelona.

Combine a visit to the Cirque de Gavarnie and the Pont d'Espagne on a day trip from Lourdes. See the Pont d'Espagne, a must-see site in the Pyrenees, and visit the Cirque de Gavarnie, the heart of the Pyrenees National Park. Depart from Lourdes and head to the Pont d'Espagne, a must-see site in the Pyrenees. Drive along the road of waterfalls, which rises towards the high-altitude valleys and offers grand views of the mountain landscape. Stop for a photo between waterfalls and tumultuous gorges, and choose to take the chairlift to Lake Gaube or walk to Marcadau, which is home to rich fauna and flora. Return via Cauterets, a thermal town once visited by Napoleon III and Eugénie. Enjoy a lunch break in the village of Cauterets, then visit a local candy factory to learn about the production of berlingots. Continue to the Cirque de Gavarnie, the heart of the Pyrenees National Park. Head to the French mountains where the Pyrenees colossus stands, immortalized by Victor Hugo. The Cirque de Gavarnie welcomes you to its majestic heart. Walk along easy hiking trails to get closer to the imposing 1,700-meter wall, the last barrier before Spain.

We will be welcomed at the meeting point in Murillo de Gállego, 3 hours from Barcelona between the Basque Country and Catalonia, and in the changing rooms we will put on our wetsuit. The rafting company's vans will take us to the start point of the river in less than 10 minutes. The guides will give us safety instructions and teach us how to paddle. With all the technical equipment adjusted, we will practice the commands in the starting pool and, laughing, we will begin to feel the vitality that the river offers us with the help of the guide. During the descent we will feel shared emotions running through our body. The river is of an intermediate level (class 3) and no previous experience is necessary. This company has given training courses to rafting guides in 15 countries and we are part of the International Rafting Federation GTE Committee. We know what we do and we do it with passion. Our goal is to make it an unforgettable activity for the participant, both for calm families and for the most adventurous people, repeating that our motto is “Fun with Safety”. We will contemplate the spectacular landscape that the Kingdom of the Mallos offers us with its conglomerate giants. We will observe signs of otters and beavers under the flight of large birds of prey. We will have the option of baths and we will demonstrate our ability to get on the raft without help. We will arrive at the river finish point where we will get wet into the company’s vans and in less than 5 minutes we will be in the changing rooms. At the exit we can have a drink on our large terraces with views of the “Mallos de Riglos” while we remember the good times of the rafting descent.
