We will stop at the border control in the high mountain pass, and get you that all important passport stamp. Afterwards, we will stop again for breathtaking views of the mountains, and a chance to get some unforgettable pictures. From there we will head down to the capital, where you will have a little bit of time to visit Andorra la Vella’s tax-free shops for bargain-priced wines and souvenirs. On the return drive, admire the Romanesque church of St. Climent and the stunning valley views before continuing on your way back to Barcelona, arriving in time for pre-dinner drinks and tapas or whatever else your evening holds.

Soon we will contemplate the Pyrenees and the medieval charm and Romanesque art. Our first stop will be the sanctuary of Meritxell, a place of great religious and historical significance. Here, we will explore the old renovated Romanesque building and the new sanctuary built in 1972, which represents a beautiful fusion of history and modernity. We will arrive in the center of Andorra, known for being a premier shopping destination. You will have free time to explore the main avenue, where you will find premium brands and duty-free shopping. With a wealth of stores to stock up on fashion and accessories, you can visit boutiques, specialty stores and luxury brands. In addition to shopping, we suggest you visit the Escaldes-Engordany Art Center, and explore the old town of Andorra la Vella with its cobblestone streets and traditional architecture. Time for lunch at a local restaurant, where you can enjoy Andorran gastronomy. On the way back to Barcelona, we will make a short detour to the famous Basilica of Monserrat. Upon arrival, we will explore the Monastery of Montserrat, a historical treasure of more than a thousand years, located in the mountains of Catalonia. Founded in the 11th century, this site houses the Virgin of Montserrat, "La Moreneta", and offers exceptional panoramic views from its 720 meters above sea level.
