We enjoyed our Big Bus experience overall, but primarily due to the guided walking tour we added. Our guide Charles was absolutely amazing. His tour was so informative and fun and one of the highlights of our stay. The buses overall were not as helpful, as the routes covered a relatively small space, ran infrequently and at unpredictable times, meaning we missed several scheduled buses and had to walk to our destinations, and because the portion of the day they ran was fairly limited (arrived at the stop near our hotel at 11, stopped running by 17) it wasn’t as useful as we had hoped. Commentary was interesting when we were able to ride.
Hop on a bus and explore Vienna however you wish. This hop-on-hop-off ticket lets you hop on or off the bus as often as you want at any of the stops, so you get to experience all of the sights at your own pace. Alternatively, you can just take a seat and enjoy a city tour with interesting and informative commentary. Choose between 3 routes, each of which takes you to a different part of Vienna. See the State Opera, the Kunsthistorisches Museum (Museum of Art History), Heldenplatz (Heroes' Square), Parliament, the Burgtheater, and the magnificent Hilton Hotel. Or, be driven to Schönbrunn Palace and Belvedere Palace before visiting the KunstHausWien museum, the Danube Steam Navigation Company, or the UNO City – the choice is yours! Your tour offers a choice between 3 routes, which can be combined as you wish: Red Route Admire the sights along the Ring Road, such as the ...
Хорошо организовано, мы проехали два больших круга, все основные точки видели. Но про сам город могли бы рассказывать и побольше.
Experience a romantic sightseeing tour by bus and boat from Vienna, introducing you to the beauty of the Wachau and Danube Valleys. One of the most prominent tourist destinations in Lower Austria, the Wachau Valley is a designated UNESCO World Heritage Site for its architectural and agricultural history, and it also attracts epicureans with its food and wine. You will explore the River Danube as it flows around picturesque villages and steep vineyards. The many ancient castles testify to the former importance of the river as a trade and traffic route. One of these is the ruins of Dürnstein Castle, where, according to legend, Richard the Lionheart was kept imprisoned, and was eventually freed by his faithful minstrel Blondel. You will take a romantic boat trip along the legendary Danube and go to the heart of the Wachau wine-growing region at the old city of Krems. A highlight of the to...
The entire day waa fantastic. The abbey inside is spectacular. The day was very well planned. All went smoothly. Very clean bus. Very good driver and guide. Enough time spent at each point. The transfer to the boat was great and well planned. The cruise on river was amazing
Benefit from the advantages of this tour and skip the queues at Schönbrunn Palace! Get an overall impression of the most significant historical sights in Vienna! By bus, the tour will take you along the Ringstraße, home to numerous architectural gems such as the State Opera, the Museum of Art History with its world-famous collection, the Habsburg Museum and the Museum of Natural History. Discover the museum quarter, the Hofburg Palace (the Emperors' winter residence), the Austrian Parliament, the City Hall, and the Court Theater. The highlight of your visit is a guided tour through the halls of Schönbrunn Palace, the former imperial summer residence that hosted Maria Theresa, amongst others.
We thought the driving portion of the tour was a bit rushed and the German and English commentary often left the English comments until the landmark had passed.
Depart Vienna and journey by bus into the Austrian Alps to explore the UNESCO World Heritage Site of Salzkammergut, famous for its scenic lakes, limestone mountains and historic castles. Continue to the beautiful village of Hallstatt on the Hallstätter See and learn more about the development of the village and its salt production industry, dating back to prehistoric times. Next, climb aboard a boat and cruise across the tranquil waters of the Hallstätter See. Get some free time to explore the village on your own before making your way back to Vienna.

Great time, although I spent a lot more money than I thought I would. On top of that the cost for the tour is rather expensive, but depending on who is attending it could be worth it. Our guide Karl was very knowledgeable and so friendly!
Your half-day wine tour starts with a pickup at your downtown hotel (or recommended pickup location) with an air-conditioned minibus. After the last pickup, you will start your 30-minute drive to Weinviertel wine region. En route you’ll learn about Austria's fascinating history and hear about the country’s long and rich wine tradition. After arriving in the region, you’ll visit 3 unique wineries. These small, family-owned wineries produce about 35,000 to 50,000 bottles of wine each year, mostly sold in selected restaurants and from their cellars. In the small groups, you will have the opportunity to look behind the scenes and taste 4 wines at each of the wineries. At the last stop of the winery tour, you finish the day with a classic Austrian countryside dinner so you can discuss your wine discoveries as you enjoy your meal. After the tour and meal, you’ll be transferred back to your h...
