Discover the sights of Trieste in comfort aboard an air-conditioned bus equipped with audio guides synchronized with the route to provide information about all the attractions you will see. Climb aboard at the Molo Audace pier, and then sit back and relax as you travel around the historic city center. You can hop on and off the bus at any stop and take the next one if there is a seat. The ticket is valid for 24 hours, the seat is guaranteed only for the course you have booked. Pets are allowed only if wearing the muzzle. Embark on a journey back in time with entry tickets to the iconic Miramare Castle and Museum in Trieste. Perched on a cliff running out into the sea, the castle looks over the Gulf of Trieste, offering breathtaking views of the Adriatic Sea. Get access to this stunning 19th-century castle, built by Archduke Maximilian of Habsburg for himself. While Old Max is long gone, his unique cliffside mansion is still there for you to explore. Wander through the beautifully preserved rooms and learn about the castle's rich history. Marvel at the castle's eclectic style, intricate architectural details, and Istrian white stone construction, which makes it a standout feature of the region. After your visit, take a stroll through the castle's expansive gardens, offering further stunning views of the sea and surrounding landscape.

After being picked up from your accomodation or hotel in Trieste, your guide will take you on a tour through Trieste. Take in the panoramic views of this majestic city, nestled in Italy’s northeast corner, embraced by green hills in one and the Mediterranean sea on the other, the snow capped Dolomites to the north. Visit Miramare Castle which was built between 1856 and 1860 on the tip of the promontory overlooking the sea. Enjoy a relaxing walk through the castle's beautiful parks and marvel at the valuable botanical species where one can relax.  At the end of the tour you will be dropped off at your accomodation. 

During an individual tour of Miramare Castle, you can explore the former apartments of Archduke Maximilian (later Emperor of Mexico) and his wife Carlotta. The spectacular location of this fairytale castle with its lush park alone is worth a visit - and I will gladly tell you the tragic story of the murdered archduke in Mexico and his crazy wife. The name of the castle translates as “looking into the sea” - and it looks into the sea from a picturesque cliff at the Gulf of Trieste. Snow-white, against the background of the turquoise sea and blue sky, it amazes with its beauty. Miramare Castle was built in the 19th century. Once here, you can understand why the Austrian Archduke Maximilian chose this place to build a residence for himself and his wife Charlotte. Maximilian, who brought exotic plants from distant countries, created an extensive collection in his park, which can be admired to this day. The park is a completely man-made creation. At the beginning of construction, the castle was surrounded only by almost bare hills, overgrown with bushes. Previously, Miramare Park was also decorated with Egyptian exhibits, one of which, the Sphinx, was preserved near the pier. During the tour you will hear the romantic and tragic story of Maximilian and Charlotte, you will see and hear about Miramare architectural buildings, plants, ponds and fountains. At the end of the excursion, I will tell you about the delightful stuff inside the castle.

Departure and arrival from the Molo della Pescheria, a few hundred meters from Piazza dell'Unità. Customers will be welcomed aboard the elegant motorboat "Philia": Jeanneau Cap Camarat 10.5 WA model. The "Philia" motorboat was launched in 2024. It is 11 meters long and equipped with two 300 horsepower outboard motors. Points of interest visible during the day trip: Miramare Castle and its gardens; Miramare Marine Reserve; Grignano Bay; Faro della Vittoria; Piazza dell'Unità. Two aperitifs accompanied by finger food will be served on board. There is the possibility to swim in the Gulf of Trieste and/or use a freshwater shower.
