Billura what a great guide! She was able to accommodate a prior tour that went over that made me late. She was very knowledgeable about the both the Grand & Spice Bazaars. She was able to point out the more authentic Turkish products versus others. The authentic Turkish coffee and baklava were a great touch. The carpet tour was very interesting, even though I was not in the market of buying one. She was happy to take my picture along the way. I bought some really good, high quality Turkish delights for the family back home. They even vacuum sealed them so they would make the trip home fresh. Billura was so very kind enough to walk me to my dinner reservation that night thereby extending the tour by telling me about the better restaurants along the way. I would probably just emphasize that it is a shopping tour, even though you’re not absolutely required to buy anything. Thank you for a great tour, Billura!
Our guided shopping tour in Istanbul with Taha Uruç was incredible! Taha was extremely patient and took us to the best spots, helping us find authentic items while avoiding tourist traps. Beyond shopping, he turned the trip into a cultural experience, teaching us about Turkish traditions and history. The Turkish coffee tasting was a delightful highlight, blending flavor with cultural insight. Taha’s knowledge and warm personality made this an unforgettable adventure. Highly recommended!
I loved the personal experience, Perihan was so fun and knowledgeable. l have a much deeper understanding of Istanbul, the culture and history than I did before and this is due to Pari and the wonderful people she took me to meet today on my shopping adventure. The restaurant we went to for lunch was amazing! She also gave great recommendations for other activities while we are here. I genuinely enjoyed this tour! My guide, Hasan, was just lovely! He was patient (I was late because traffic that afternoon was so bad), honest, engaging, knowledgeable, and accommodating. The Grand Bazaar and Spice Bazaar tour was visually exciting for shopping and as an afternoon walk. It was an experience to remember!
Turan was a great guide. He was very patient and took us the most important areas of the bazaar. He also gave us a great recommendations as far as place to eat, have coffee and bargain.
