During the renovation, our cellars can't be visited, but we remain committed to ensuring that you, our guests, have a memorable and educational tasting.

Based in the city center of Beaune, Maison Champy is the very first wine estate established in Burgundy since 1720. During this guided tour, you will learn about the milestones in its history and discover its 15th century cellars. The visit will end up with a tasting of five iconic wines of the estate. Our tour takes you into the vineyard of the Côte de Beaune. After a short briefing about how to use the bicycle and adjust your helmet, we’ll ride along an easy sealed cycling road in the heart of Pommard, Volnay and Meursault vineyards. Your local guide will be here to take care of your needs and questions. On your way, you will have a wine tasting in the vineyard which is a good opportunity to explain the differents types of wines in Burgundy. You’ll understand and learn about the grappe varieties to associate a taste, about the soil and why Burgundy wines are so unique and exceptionnal ! A local producer will invite you to his winery for a visit. You will taste 4 wines of the domain. If you desire you will be able to buy some bottles. If this is the case, you can take them directly with you or haven them delivered to where you want! Then we’ll go back to Beaune by an easy downhill road. Be careful, don’t overtake the guide ! We assure unforgettables memories and great pictures during this unusual tour !

You’ll be picked up at 9:30 AM at the Beaune tourist office and travel in an air conditioned minivan (maximum of 8 passengers) on this full-day wine tour. The tour begins with a winery visit near Beaune, where you’ll find a wide range of different wines, including Village, Premier cru and Grand cru. You'll be introduced to different appellations such as Saint-Aubin, Meursault, Les Charmes and Corton-Charlemagne. After the winery visit, your guide will recommend a local restaurant for lunch with local food (on your own expenses). After lunch, you'll head out along the scenic Route des Grands Crus and stop at the famous Romanée-Conti, which produces the most expensive wine in the world. You'll also have a stop at Chateau of Clos de Vougeot. Founded in 1098 by monks, the vineyard of Clos de Vougeot covers 50 hectares. The castle houses the brotherhood of the Knights of the Tastevin. Its wines are some of the most famous in Burgundy, including Le Clos Vougeot Grand Cru. At Nuits Saint Georges you'll have the opportunity to visit a wine cellar and share some time with the winemaker around a tasting of his best Pinot Noir wines. To finish, enjoy a wine tasting at a local wine shop in the charming viallge of Chambolle-Misigny. At the end of the tour you’ll be transferred back to Beaune and dropped off at the tourist office at 5.45PM.

Travel to the Maison Veuve Ambal, a family-owned winery located in Montagny-lès-Beaune , on a 1.5-hour winery tour and tasting. The maison was established in the heart of Burgundy more than a century ago and has been making quality wines since 1898. Upon arrival you will be taken on a guided walk through the aging cellars and workshops. See the robots and automatons that make the sparkling wine and learn more about the process. Then continue to the Veuve Ambal shop, where you will have a guided tasting of 3 Crémant de Bourgogne drinks. Afterward, spend time browsing the shop and discussing your new wine knowledge. Begin your tour in Meursault, the capital of Burgundy's white wines and famous for the town hall with its glazed tiles. Drive around the beautiful Chassagne-Montrachet and Puligny-Montrachet. Be as close as possible to the vineyards where your guide will explain the history of the area.

The trail invites you on a real multi-sensory dive into the world of wine, through some twenty themed areas , to discover all the riches of this great vineyard that has been shaped by mankind. To reveal the fabulous history of the world’s most celebrated wines, 1,100 m² of space is devoted to the discovery of the Climats and wines of Bourgogne, through a trail that is organised into three main segments. Along the way, you will be able to listen to a story, interact with the various multimedia devices, smell the palette of aromas and learn about tasting. All your senses will be awakened to help you experience and understand this unique 2000 year-old wine culture. Each visit ends with an introduction to tasting of wine from the Cave de Prestige selection. A special kids route is integrated into the main trail. It sheds light on the history of Bourgogne’s vineyards: the fossils, the vineyard cycle, the grapes, the animals… This route, marked out by 7 small cabottes, or vineyard shelters, will allow the youngest visitors to enjoy learning through fun, immersive, multi-sensory experiences. The route concludes with a tasting of grape juice.
