Stockholm: Full Day Archipelago Sailing Tour with Lunch

1. Stockholm: Full Day Archipelago Sailing Tour with Lunch

Sailing is a great way of seeing beautiful places where you can’t come otherwise, and Stockholm happens to have the perfect environment to do so. Embark on your sailing boat (usually a Scampi 30 or Compi 28) and get ready to navigate through the Stockholm archipelago. The journey starts in Nynäshamn, a lively harbour located 45 minutes drive away from central Stockholm. Sail off and learn how to sail with an experienced skipper. The archipelago is inhabited by many species. Encounter bird life such as white-tailed eagles, swans, cormorants, and much more. Sometimes, grey seals can also be seen. Admire the view and enjoy boosting forward by nothing but wind power and experience life on a sailing vessel. After a while, stop on one of the many islands, Nåttarö, Läcka, Utö, Ornö, Stora Rammklöv, we will let the wind decide. Allow yourself to relax during a well-appreciated lunch break in a sheltered bay, take a swim in the Baltic Sea or laze away in the sun. Discover the treasures of the islands and the beautiful views. Then hop on the boat again and keep on the sailing adventure going.

Dream day with Sofia our skipper, we took part in the maneuvers when it was our first time on a sailboat and I will never forget the welcome of my autistic son who was warm to make the cruise unforgettable, the lunch at board, the cookies after the break on the island of Natturo where we were able to swim. We were with a couple of young Germans who were also very nice. Thank you very much The Green Trails! And more specifically Sofia of course ;-) Kévin & Agnès

It was a very peaceful and calm sailing with Sofia, my skipper for the day. The wind was a bit weak initially but it really picked up when we were sailing back. Sofia is very active and an excellent skipper and a very good guide and pointed lot of different types of boats to me, the meaning of the horns. The island we went to was hilly and a very small beach and we had a good lunch there.

Despite a bit of rain, this was an excellent trip. The Captains (Rolf and Lisa) were great. The lunch was excellent. The boat, at 48.5feet, was spacious and comfortable. We took the ferry from in front of the Grand Hotel to Vaxholm which took 55 minutes and it was also interesting. I highly recommend this trip if you are adventurous.

The captain was an experienced, very tidy and calm person. Very pleasant. Although the group was quite special, he managed to give us all a great day. I thank him from the bottom of my heart and can recommend the tour without reservation.

Very good skipper, professional and human very pleasant. The boat was well maintained and technically in the best condition. A detailed briefing creates security.
