4. Puerto Plata: Full-Day Rural Tour and Waterfall Safari
Immerse yourself in the culture and daily life of the Dominican people on this all-encompassing day tour. After getting picked up from your hotel, head for San Marcos, passing through rural communities and taking in the beautiful landscape as you drive. Along the way, see a typical Dominican patio at a country house full of domestic birds, visit a traditional plantation and stop to appreciate the impressive view of the Bay of Maimon.
Upon arrival at the community of Barrabas, learn how to make delicious pylon coffee and savor the rewards of your efforts with a sample afterwards.
