During your trip, you will pass by the original region of Prosecco, Conegliano Valdobbiadene, a complex of small towns and expanses of vineyards. Visit 2 traditional wineries to learn all the secrets of Prosecco production and have 2 wine tasting sessions. First, stop at a family-run winery for a guided tour of the vineyards. Enjoy a tasting session paired with a light lunch with local products like cheese, salami, bread, and seasonal vegetables. After this lunch with a view, head to the second winery to meet the winemaker for a guided tour of the production. Learn more about the Charmat method and a second wine-tasting session. At the end of this trip to the magical world of Prosecco land, return to the starting point.

Together we will discover the Prosecco Hills... In the morning, with me and my husband, we will visit a winery located in an area with a beautiful scenery, where we will learn all the secrets of Prosecco wine making and taste some glasses of this famous sparkling wine! We will then visit a local Osteria lost in the middle of the hills, and will have an aperitivo in front of the vineyards, while listening to the delightful singing of the birds! We will meet my family, while enjoying a typical lunch in our family owned osteria, where traditional dishes are prepared using our grandma's recipes, and where the typical "spiedo" meat cooks slowly near the fire! All desserts are home made by my brother and are really a sweet end of a delicious 4 courses meal! We will visit a second winery, where we will meet friends that run a very high quality DOCG Prosecco winery and produce wines using ancient types of vines and lots of passion!

This Food and Wine Tour is designed for those who want to discover the wonders of the hills of Conegliano Valdobbiadene, a Unesco heritage site since 2019. The first stage of the tour will be outdoors where you will be guided in the tasting of 4 Prosecco DOCG which will be accompanied by cold cuts and cheeses. It's then lunch time! After exploring the wonders of the Unesco heritage hills we will move to the second winery, a very small family-run reality, where we will live the experience of a technical tasting of 4 very high quality Proseccos produced using the 5 original grape varieties. The tour will start and end from Piazzale Roma in Venice or from Conegliano. Duration about 8 hours, maximum 23 people minimum 2. 1) Depart from Venice on the 8am train to meet us in Conegliano train station and be welcome by the friendly smile of Carlo and a warm cup of coffee 2) Upon arriving in the Dolomites, we’ll enjoy some free time to discover the little charming mountain town. The typical mountain food will delight you with its authentic and traditional tastes and flavors. 4) Afterwards, we’ll admire the natural beauty that these gorgeous mountains have to offer in spots such as Tre Cime di Lavaredo or Misurina Lake. 5) After a day filled with activities and adventure, we’ll make our way back to Conegliano train station, where you can catch the quick and direct train service to Venice.
