Overall rating
We had a very informative and insightful tour from our guide Mathias at the Sachsenhausen Concentration Camp and the Sanssouci Palace in Postdam. In addition to being knowledgeable, Mathias was funny and self-deprecating. I appreciated how he interwove his personal reflections with the historical account of the places we visited. It was a moving experience, but with plenty of fun along the way. My only critique would be of the transportation, which combined English-speaking tourists with Spanish-speaking tourists. While everyone was extremely friendly, I think it would create an overall better experience for everyone to have the two groups on separate tour buses.
The places visited: the Concentration Camp is more like a museum. There is nothing from that period, except photographs. And Potsdam was a quick visit outside the city.
Our guide was really relaxed and funny, and kept the group together. We learned a lot about history. It was just wonderful. I would recommend it to anyone.
The tour was very good. The weather was excellent when we boarded at the starting point and we were able to get seats on the upper deck.
The stops were all so beautiful and exactly what we expected and more.
