From Stavanger: Preikestolen (Pulpit Rock) Guided Hike

1. From Stavanger: Preikestolen (Pulpit Rock) Guided Hike

Hike one of Norway’s most spectacular walking trails just a few hours from Stavanger, and get stunning views from the top of Preikestolen (Pulpit Rock) above the Lysefjorden fjord. Reach the edge of the near-vertical cliff and test your nerves of steel as you stand or sit close to the edge above crystal-clear waters. Enjoy a light snack as you take in the unobstructed views over a fjord formed by glaciers during the last Ice Age. Reconnect with the wilderness on the 4 to 6-hour trek using well marked and easy to follow paths. Face the challenge of rocks that may become slippery in more demanding areas before you reach the unparalleled views.

The excursion was very interesting, despite the fact that we had the bad luck that when we got to the top there was a lot of fog and we couldn't enjoy the wonderful views. Our guide Toa was a charm, he explained everything to us perfectly and helped us in the ascent / descent when necessary, always aware of what we needed. Although the tour was in English, we were lucky that Toa is Argentine and addressed us in Spanish. Cool!!!!

Our Toa guide was very kind and explained the route to us at all times. As he was Argentine and we were Spanish, he spoke to us in Spanish, which we thanked him for. The day was not the best in terms of weather, for that reason I am much happier to have hired a guide for our excursion. If we had gone alone I do not know if I would have completed it

Impactante al llegar a la cima, los paisajes muy bonitos y la guía muy accesible, aunque no lo decía en el paquete, al llegar a la cima nos ofreció chocolate caliente o café, lo que nos ayudo con el clima.

Very tiring excursion, 8 km round trip and 5 hours of walking, it can be done even if not trained, but at the top of Preikestolen a breathtaking view!

it was hard but we did it due to REBEKKA our tour guide
