Visit Casa Batlló: Gaudi’s House of Genius

Discover Casa Batlló, one of Antoni Gaudí’s most imaginative creations and a quintessential landmark in Barcelona. This Modernisme masterpiece harmoniously blends organic forms, expressive colors, and novel materials. Inspired by water and marine elements, the building’s undulating façade, sculptural details, and stained glass evoke the fluidity of the natural world.

The imitation of biology throughout the building brings the space to life, from the spiraling staircase symbolizing air and water movement to the fantastical elements prevalent throughout the house nicknamed “House of Bones.” Casa Batlló draws inspiration from flora and fauna, transforming architecture into living, breathing art.

I recommend using this bus for all tourists in Barcelona, as it covers all the popular places you can visit within two days. This was my first experience using such a bus, and I am 100% satisfied because you can hop on and off anywhere, and they run all day.

It’s a must half day trip out of Barcelona. I highly recommend it. Organisation was perfect and our guid was great. However, I would advise to consider taking a train and organize it by yourself if you would like to be more independent timewise.

Great guide, great food! Beautiful tour. The bus journey was very windy so made me feel bit sick 🤣
