Whet your appetite with famed sparkling wine from Catalunya on this 90-minute guided tour of the Freixenet vineyards. Begin the day by watching a video about the history of the renowned wine maker, then be taken on a tour of the historic wine cellars that date back to 1922. Here you’ll learn how Freixenet cava is still being produced by the traditional method as well as how modern techniques have been incorporated into today's processes. At the end of the tour you’ll have the opportunity to enjoy a glass of this glimmering, cool cava or a non-alcoholic sparkling beverage for visitors under the age of 18. You’ll also be able to visit the Freixenet store Dolores Ferrer, where you can purchase cavas, wines from around the world, and other top-quality products associated with the world of wine.

It was a good experience. We missed our English session so the company was still able to accommodate us and we were able to still participate but it was in the Catalunyan language. We were still able to follow along because there was reading in English. At the end we got to taste 2 wines along with crackers and cheese to purchase. The train ride there wasn’t bad and it was fairly easy to navigate. I would do the tour again but in English of course.

This is a MUST-DO for those who visit Barcelona and love football (or soccer for those coming over from the USA:) or just want to have a better understanding of the passion that lives within the people from Barcelona. Our guide Olivier, having visited more than 300 soccer matches, and, as a sports journalist, having interviewed many of Barcelona's stars, has an "unlimited insight" into how Barcelona operates as a sports club, internal politics, and how the players train and live their lives. We couldn't have wished for a better and more knowledgeable (and entertaining guide). Our party consisted of two parents and five children aged 8-21 years old and we all agreed that this was one of our highlights while visiting Barcelona. Worthwhile every penny!

It was a great experience! Thanks to Olivier‘s great knowledge about FC Barçelona and football in general, we‘ve learned a lot about the club, the players and very interesting details from „behind the scenes“. Our two Teenage-kids - both playing football- were also very interested in all the information we‘ve got directly and personally. We were only the 4 of us in this tour- so we had the chance to talk and learn a lot! Olivier knows every corner in the large area of the Camp Nou and guided us therefore perfectly through all the places. 2 well worthy hours! Thanks, Olivier!

A very committed and passionate presentation of a proud brand, great ambience, great terrace for the cava and a few tapas afterwards. Will be there again on my next visit to Barcelona.

Great way to see Barcelona from a different perspective. Probably works best at nighttime, thus saving you the walking under the summer’s scorching sun!

The guide was very knowledgeable and answered all our questions
