Join a local guide on a simply amazing circular hiking route in the Waterfalls area of the Brecon Beacons National Park. See the six main waterfalls of the national park as well as some smaller falls and cascades, and admire the scenic valleys and the forest landscapes. You will travel in a modern and luxurious fully electric vehicle, limited to a maximum of seven passengers, in the company of your driver guide, Andy, who is a Mountain Leader and a Green Badged Tourist Guide, an ambassador for many areas of Wales and a Visit Wales Pro. Perhaps you will choose to have breakfast here? Then it's off to Pontneddfechan and the start of our hike. We will visit each waterfall as you learn about the local area from your guide. You'll gain 400m of height on the 15km hike which is often over rough, muddy and broken ground. For our hiking troubles, we get amazing scenic views of the park and wonderful memories of sparkling waterfalls. Immerse yourself in the landscape as you get the chance to walk behind some of the waterfalls. Perhaps you will take an invigorating swim in the final pool to finish off the tour! With the waterfalls area being popular it's paths can become very crowded indeed. However, the path we will take for most of the day only ever has a handful of walkers and midweek we'll have much of the hike to ourselves! We have been delivering walks at this location for over thirty years and our knowledge of the area, its industrial heritage and its natural environments will be ours to share with you as you take in the best valley walks in Brecon Beacons National Park! During the months of May to September there is a cafe half way round, but do not depend on this for sustenance unless advised by us to do so. It's a pop up and so is often closed due to weather conditions so we always advise taking a good packed lunch along with a flask of something warm. Day 1 Depart London and travel through the old kingdom of Wessex to the historic city of Winchester. The former capital of Anglo-Saxon England boasts a magnificent cathedral and the Norman Great Hall. From this bustling city, head to a quieter but equally profound place, the standing stone circle of Stonehenge. Having explored this mystical place, your tour will continue to Exeter, the Romans most southwesterly fortified settlement and your base for 2 nights. Day 2 Your morning is spent exploring the magnificent wilderness of Dartmoor, the ancient "Clapper Bridge" at Postbridge, and the historic market town of Tavistock, home to Francis Drake. Return to Exeter in the early afternoon to explore the Roman town, with its underground passages, ancient walls, Royal Albert Memorial Museum and famous 12th-Century Norman Cathedral. Day 3 Head west to the North Cornish coast and the Elizabethan fishing village of Boscastle. Indulge in a cream tea, take a stroll out to the dramatic headland or learn a spell or two in the Museum of Witchcraft. Travel to the village of Tintagel and the ruins of its headland Castle, whose romantic cliff-top setting is purportedly the birthplace of King Arthur. After lunch, the tour heads to Port Isaac where you can get your Doc Martin fix and fall in love with this picturesque fishing village, before heading south to the bustling port town of Falmouth for the next two nights. Day 4 Explore the most westerly tip of England on this magnificent day, taking in St. Michael’s Mount, the incredible Minack Theater, built into the cliffs overlooking the Atlantic Ocean and the beautiful National Trust beach at Porthcurno. You visit Land’s End before following a landscape dotted with the relics of the Cornish tin mining heritage, and now a filming location for the Poldark series. St Ives is the final stop of the day with its plethora of artists’ galleries in the maze of narrow, harbour-side streets. You return to Falmouth for the night. Day 5 This morning, you say farewell to Cornwall and travel across Bodmin Moor, a wild moorland that’s designated as an area of outstanding natural beauty. We’ll take a break before leaving Cornwall and continuing to Glastonbury. Here you can visit the ruins of 7th century Abbey, relax over some lunch or scale Glastonbury Tor for the views across five counties. From here, you travel back to London, a busy city far removed from the experiences you’ve enjoyed in the magical counties of Devon and Cornwall.

Visit Windsor Castle, Stonehenge, and Bath on this day trip in an air-conditioned bus from London. Explore the residence of the English monarchy at Windsor Caste and try to unlock the secrets of Stonehenge for yourself. Admire Bath Abbey and Pulteney Bridge in the city of Bath. The first stop on this full-day tour is the historic town of Windsor where you’ll visit the Queen’s favorite weekend retreat — Windsor Castle. The Castle, dating from Norman times, features a prominent turreted Round Tower. It sits atop a wooded hill on the banks of the Thames River, in the midst of lovely landscaped grounds. Have a “through-the-keyhole” look at the Castle’s State Apartments and paintings by Rembrandt and Leonardo da Vinci that hang there. A visit to St. George’s Chapel is also on your tour. The Chapel is the final resting place of King Henry VIII and other monarchs. Before you leave Windsor, you’ll see Queen Mary’s Dolls’ House, a residence in miniature, complete with electricity, running water, working lifts, and even bottles of wine. The iconic and ancient monument of Stonehenge is your second stop on the tour. Your first sight of Stonehenge will be of the monolithic rocks rising up from Salisbury Plain. There have been many theories over the ages about this mysterious 5,000-year-old formation. You may end up with a theory of your own to add to the speculation.  The city of Bath lines the sloping banks of the Avon River. This was England’s first city to be designated a UNESCO World Heritage site.  Visit the 15th-century Bath Abbey and also Pulteney Bridge, which was based on the design of the Ponte Vecchio in Florence. You’ll see stunning examples of Georgian architecture and have enough free time in Bath to explore on your own. After a full and memorable day, you will arrive in London at the end of your tour at approximately 8:00 PM.
