Gran Canaria: Dolphin and Whale Watching Cruise

1. Gran Canaria: Dolphin and Whale Watching Cruise

An unforgettable 2-hour experience. Departing from Puerto Rico and sailing the southwest coast of Gran Canaria searching for dolphins and whales. You will be met on the bus by our guide, who will take you to the harbor in Puerto Rico from a ‘pick-up point’ near your hotel. We will set sail along the southwest coast of Gran Canaria where you can appreciate the astonishing landscape and scenery. We will search for dolphins/whales in our normal search range, which is 5/7 miles out to sea from the Faro Maspalomas to Venezuela. Our friendly guides and crew will be available at all times for your own comfort and safety. They will share their extensive marine knowledge and provide you with key information on the wildlife that we may encounter. Soft drinks and water will be provided free of charge and you can also purchase snacks from the bar. Dolphin Safari lasts typically around two hours. On arrival back to the harbor you will be transported back to your hotel. We recommend you bring Sun cream, a hat, and a jumper as it can get chilly out at sea. Multiacuatic is a newly constructed catamaran (2005). The boat is 52 feet long and 20 feet wide distributed into two decks. An access ramp is available if required for pushchairs. All possible precautions are taken in relation to safety and security. During the trip and whilst sighting marine life, a guide specializing in the observations of cetaceans will provide passengers with interesting and factual information. This guide can also give information about other marine life that may be sighted on the trip including turtles, flying fish, etc.

One of the best tours we ever went on, it's definitely a must do! It was perfectly organised so the time was used well and got to see a lot of things. Pavel is very knowledgeable and passionate about Gran Canaria, so he explained a lot of things, from history, culture, food to fauna and flora of the different areas, with so much energy and positivity! We suggest doing the tour at the beginning of your holiday, as he recommended a lot of places we could go to later on our own. However, the places on the tour are not accessible by bus, so this was a great opportunity to see the most beautiful part of the island. I could write for ages about all the beautiful places we saw, how much we learned, how well it was organised and how smooth the driver drove. We fully recommend to take this tour, and can also spend more time at the end at the dunes (have a swim, go to the Mirador) and return by bus 30. Would give 10 starts if I could!

Very nice and funny guide. You can tell that doing these tours is his passion. Always my pleasure. Even with questions, he usually has an answer and is not annoyed. The beach is beautiful and the villa very very interesting. One of the best half day excursions you can do. LG Strike one :-)

Cofete landscape and beach are beautiful and absolutely worth seeing, the history of Villa Winter is interesting and surprising, and the super relaxed and funny tour guide rounds off the trip. Awesome experience!
