I’m amazed how much was packed into this day. We started with a beautiful drive from Sharm El-Sheikh to Dahab. Our tour guide Essam was intense but well organized and explained everything clearly. Upon arrival, we rented snorkelling gear (14 USD at the time, which is not included in the tour price), and went to the beach for a camel ride. So fun! Then we got into the water for snorkelling. The sea was rough and cold, so we had to wear life jackets and wetsuits (included in price above) and stay together as a group. It was breathtaking! Though others said snorkelling in Sharm was more enjoyable. We then had lunch on the beach. Unfortunately the meat was overcooked and the rice undercooked. Drinks also cost extra. The afternoon was my favourite part, with a visit to a perfume shop (didn’t feel pressured to buy) followed by a jeep ride into the canyon, a hike at sunset, and tea around the fire at a Bedouin camp. Overall, a great experience with a few areas for improvement.
