We started on time, which was great. It was very private, with total of 8 participants + driver. We made total of 3 stops: Stop #1: pick nick style breakfast with wine tasting and pastry (great way to start your morning). We stopped on the top of the hill overlooking the beautiful valley, vineyards and rolling hills. Stop #2: historic village with a great views of the valley, learned about the history of the region and walked around a bit. Stop #3: winery itself with a great explanation of the wine planting techniques, types of the grapes / wines produced along with the wine tasting and pairing with cheese, salami, sausage and pork skins. Our experience was completed by visiting the wine store to purchase the bottles for home....

Tasting wine in the vineyards of Beaujolais, visiting the Domaine to explain how to cultivate the grapes and how to make the wine, and tasting while chatting about delicious wine and light meals. Although it was a guided tour in English, it was probably alcohol, so people from other languages were able to enjoy themselves, even though they were in harmony with each other.

Fabulous. Educational re terroir, grape varieties, vineyard management and wine production. The Golden Stones medieval village is superb. Our tour guide was friendly, spoke French/English seamlessly, was extremely knowledgeable and made out day a delight.
