My husband and I booked this tour last week when we were on a cruise. First, it's important to say that we were NOT picked up at the time we had confirmed. Thankfully, we were given their number in the confirmation email. My husband called and spoke to one of the sons who acted as if he was not aware we were scheduled. He had scheduled a group of 4. He told us that his father would pick us up and to stay where we were. I called again and the son got snippy with me. An hour later, my husband found the 4 people inside, who were waiting just as long, and then the father arrived. These people have no sense of time. The tour ran long and we weren't able to do anything else that we had planned outside this tour. No apology from anyone. Having said that, we were able to pick olives, see lots of very old olive trees, sample olive oil and how it's made and see the wild oregano mounds. The son showed up very briefly to give his little talk and then left. A woman gave the rest of the tour.
An amazing experience, George is as fun as he is knowledgeable! We took away great tips and facts that will inform how we get our olive oil in the future. The whole family was so welcoming and the tour itself felt really personal. A great way to get in touch with other elements of Corfu other than tourism. Also the picking up and dropping off is really handy!
This was the best way for me to see the city. The driver was knowledgeable and made sure I got off where I wanted and knew where to be to make it back on the bus. The educational value of the audio tour is priceless and the city was so beauty!
It was a very nice outing, however, think more time at Palace, and less in Corfu town would be much better. As we had all been there before, more time seeing island would have been better.
We had the best day out at the olive oil experience. George was great fun. He wasn’t at all well and was taking antibiotics but he still gave us a great tour.
