My partner and I did the full day tour including the alms ceremony, mount phousi, the temples, and museums, and we couldn’t recommend it more! Our tour guide was Bounlouam, who was very friendly and full of knowledge. He had been a Buddhist monk for 18 years prior to joining the tourism industry and was happy to share all of his knowledge around Buddhism and the Lao culture which helped us get a deeper insight into the meaning behind the different temple paintings and sculptures, the museum’s artifacts, monks day-to-day living, and current Lao social climate. All of our questions were welcomed and answered. This tour is a must if you want to get a deep understanding of Lao culture and Luang Prabang in a short period of time. Seeing the sunrise from mount phousi was breathtaking! We would happily go on more tours if Boun was our guide.

This was an incredible tour. It was a packed day which allowed you to have a full experience. We started in a Hmong village where we learned about the culture and history. Then we went to the Kuang Si waterfalls which were stunning. From there we had lunch with a view overlooking the water while elephants roamed around us. We then hopped onto the wooden long boat where we cruised to the Buddha caves, then to whiskey tasting, and finally settled in to watch the sunset on the boat before being returned to the city center. It was an exceptional tour and a wonderful day.

A fascinating combination of experiences. We were given just enough time in each. The small group worked well and the transport was the best we saw amongst other tour operators. Each of the elements retained their cultural authenticity.

It was a wonderful tour, our tour guide Mr. Thin took great care of us and is very knowledgeable about the history of the area. We enjoyed the caves and the waterfalls was amazing.

Great tour, with lots of activities! Highly recommended!
