This was a wonderful tour! The tour guide was prompt, attentive, very informative and truly took interest in what we were interested in hearing more about and seeing more of. She took the time to learn about our interests and catered some of the covered discussions towards our interests and had multiple follow up questions to make sure we were seeing the items she was pointing out and talking about. She also took the time to discuss area restaurants and other areas we could visit related to our interests for the remainder of the day. The pace was perfect and covered everything we expected. Truly a treat and a wonderful tour!
We were a group of 3 travelling in January 2020 and lucky enough to be the only ones on this tour. The bonus of travelling in winter and booking small group tours. Chiara was our guide for our tour. She was amazing. Full of stories and interesting facts. She even climbs the Dome with you and tells you about the stories depicted in the paintings.
The sites were amazing and we hardly had to wait. The tour guide was very nice and Incredibly knowledgeable. Would definitely recommend. However, the climb was much more intense than anticipated. Wear sneakers for the narrow spriral stairs. If you are claustrophobic at all, skip the climb. But definitely see Il Duomo and the David.
We were amazed to find a guide who lives around the corner from il Duomo, and gained her mayor in art from the art academy in Firenze. Additionally Raphaela was a wonderfully enthusiastic person who added a warm and engaged dimension to her huge knowledge of the city, its art and history. Not a single question was left unanswered.
Veronica was our guide for the evening and we couldn't have asked for a better, more knowledgable guide. It was absolutely worth it for me and my wife. Looking forward to visiting Florence again, we wish we had more time!
