The short version: I absolutely recommend both these tours to anyone over the age of 12 and truly hope you get our professional and very personable guides - Riccardo and Leonardo! The tour itself is very well planned and executed but they made it unforgettable with anecdotes and relevant comparisons to today's world so even beginning art and/or poli-sci lovers could enjoy and understand. Ricardo and Leonardo's English was fluent, comprehensive and a pleasure to listen to - and I say that as an English teacher (EFL)! Though our group was lovely and small, it is certainly worth paying for "skipping the line" because THERE ARE LINES. Even in February. I hope to return again with my family - yes, to the same tour.

Elvis met us promptly and proceeded to walk us through 2,000 years of art history in two hours. Just awesome. Engaging, super knowledgeable, able to take complex works from the masters of the world and tie them together thematically in a lyrical and easy to digest fashion. He not only enthralled my wife and I, but also our 14 year old. We felt like this was a once in a lifetime experience and Elvis facilitated this. I highly recommend this tour, for both first time visitors and repeat visitors to Florence. Don’t hesitate - book with Elvis.

This is a tour that absolutely delivered, showcasing the highlights of the Uffizzi and downtown Florence, while delivering the David rather quickly once entering the Academy. My partner and I aren’t art lovers, but loved the experience thanks, in large part, to our guide Leonardo. We highly recommend this tour—just make sure you also see the Duomo on your own time.

It was super easy to meet the yellow vest clad guides and be given our tickets. Technically, we were in Florence for low tourist season in February but it was still very busy and if you do not book tickets through a service, you are just not going to get in.

Florence is a wonderful city and the Uffizi Gallery is maybe one of the most beautiful museum in the world. Had an amazing time discovering the artworks created by some of the greatest artists ever.
