Incredible, moving and unforgettable experience at Robben Island that touched my soul with life lessons that will stay with me forever. Derek, the former prisoner shared his personal experiences and how he kept his hope alive in the most difficult of conditions and also answered our personal, individual questions. Our tour of the island by Sim was excellent too as not only was she knowledgable but warm, funny and knew how to bring us together as a group of strangers from all over the world, so we felt connected. Thank you - highly recommend this life-changing experience !
Thank you very much for your last minute booking. I really wanted to visit Robben Island, but there were no tickets available anywhere at 9am today. This company helped me with the reservation, I received detailed instructions on how to confirm my details and book the ticket. I sailed to the island and meeting the ex-con was moving. Thank you and I recommend this company.
The bus trip was a bit squashy, felt like a sardine. Bit hard to take photos without putting elbows into other people. Absolutely enthralled with the information our guide gave us on the prison tour as he was speaking from experience.
Loved the calmness of table mountain and Robben Island was very memorable and to top it all we saw two whales on the way back! Would recommend.
A good overall learning experience. The guides were excellent.
