Mount of Olives

Get to know the holy city of Jersualem. This full-day tour will take you through the city's major attractions, beautiful views and historical gems alike. Today's first stop is Mount Scopus. Here, be treated to a panoramic view of the city below. Next, enter the Old City to see the Western Wall, Temple Mount and the Dome of the Rock. Later, move on to the Jewish and Armenian Quarters and the tread the recently restored Roman road of the Cardo. You will visit the colorful city bazaar and the Western Wall, proceeding to the Church of the Holy Sepulcher, rumored to be the place where Jesus is buried and was resurrected. If your tour is on a Saturday, at Mt. Zion you can visit the Hall of the Last Supper and David's Tomb. From here, you will continue to the New City and spend some time at the Yad Vashem Holocaust Museum, a beautiful building that stands in contrast to the horrific story told between its walls. If you've got a bit of time to spare, visit the Hall of Remembrance and the Hall of Names before you return to your hotel.

Ascend to Mt. Zion. On Saturdays, you can visit the Hall of the Last Supper and David's Tomb. Continue to the new city by car and spend some time at the Yad Vashem Holocaust Museum. The sprawling complex contains several sections, but it is the Museum that draws thousands of visitors ever since it opened in 2005. The beautiful building stands in contrast to the horrific story told within. You will also want to see the Hall of Remembrance and the Hall of Names before your return journey to Tel Aviv.

Soak up the magical atmosphere of this most sacred of cities, and end at approximately 13:30 in the Old City, where you can continue with your own lunch or explore at leisure.

This full-day tour is a perfect way to discover the Holy Land. Starting in Jerusalem, you will visit Mount Scopus, from where you will enjoy picturesque views over Jerusalem and the Temple of Mount Esplanade. Traveling through Jerusalem through the Kidron Valley, you will discover the old city walls, and take in views of the Garden of Gethsemane. Jerusalem is a Holy City of Islam, Christianity, and Judaism, and your guide will take you to different neighborhoods that are important to each religion. In the Armenian Quarter, you will explore the bazaar leading to the Wailing Wall Square. In the Christian Quarter, you will view the Stations of the Cross, and the Church of the Holy Sepulchre, which is considered to be the place where Jesus was crucified. Finally, you will walk along the Byzantine Cardo, a 1700-year-old street, to reach the restored Jewish Quarter. To continue your tour in Bethlehem, you will pass through a Palestinian border-crossing, and switch buses to continue your tour with a knowledgeable Palestinian guide. According to Christian tradition, Bethlehem was the birthplace of Jesus. Your guide will take you to see the Nativity Circle, and the Church of Nativity. From there, you will view the cave where it is believed Jesus was born, and Manger Square, where Jesus was placed after his birth. As your tour comes to a close, you will enjoy sweeping views of the Shepherd’s Fields on the way back to Jerusalem.

Pick up from your hotel in Amman at 7 a.m., after the drive, you will arrive at Allenby Bridge for immigration procedure to the other side. Start the classic tour visit with a drive to the top of Mount of Olives believed Jesus ascended to heaven. You will enjoy a magnificent view of ancient and modern Jerusalem, the center of the heavenly 3 world religions. Proceed with a walk down the Palm Sunday Road visiting the Chapel of Dominus Flevit, where Jesus wept. Continue with a walking tour of the Garden of Gethsemane and the Church of All Nations, where Christ prayed on the night of his betrayal. Visit Damascus Gate. Then, head to the old city of Jerusalem and visit the Church of the Holy Sepulchre, the tomb of Jesus Christ. Proceed to visit the last standing remnant of the ancient Temple at the Western Wailing Wall, also visit the Al-Aqsa Mosque, and Dome of the Rock. (Please note there are scheduled timings for these visits, subject to security). Free time for lunch and to explore on your own. Depart in the afternoon to Bethlehem to visit the Nativity Church marking the birthplace of Jesus. Visit the Grotto Church, the Church of Saint Catherine, and Saint Jerome Caves where the bible was translated from Hebrew to Latin. Continue to the Shepherds' Field in Beit Sahour, believed where the angels appeared announcing the birth of Jesus. Transfer back to Allenby Bridge for departure. After immigration return to Amman and transfer to your hotel.

We’ll pick you up at your Tel Aviv hotel in the morning and drive you in an air-conditioned coach along Highway No. 1 towards Jerusalem. You’ll be accompanied by our professional guide throughout the tour. At Mount Scopus, one of the highest peaks in Jerusalem, we’ll stop so you can take in the panoramic overview. You’ll see the New City of Jerusalem and the Temple Mount Esplanade of the Old City as well. Our route takes us along the Kidron Valley, from which point you’ll see the Garden of Gethsemane and the walls of the city. We’ll visit the Armenian Quarter stopping at the Western (Wailing) Wall Square. Next we’ll take in the local Bazaar and the Christian Quarter, followed by the Stations of the Cross (Via Dolorosa) and the Church of the Holy Sepulcher, which commemorates the site of the crucifixion. We continue our tour with a walk along the 1,700-year-old Byzantine main street, the Cardo, and see the renovated Jewish Quarter. Our tour ends in the Old City in Jerusalem at approximately 1:30 PM.

Embark on your Jerusalem journey from Hurghada as our guide picks you up from your hotel and takes you to Hurghada airport, from where you will fly to Taba. After arriving in Taba, you will take a bus to the Egyptian-Israeli border. On the way from Taba to Jerusalem, you will have time for breakfast. Upon arrival in Jerusalem, your journey will begin from El Gouna with the famous Mount of Olives, offering you a chance to enjoy an overwhelming view of the old city. Visit the Western Wall, located within the old city and a remnant of the ancient wall surrounding the Jewish Temples. Discover the Church of the Holy Sepulchre and explore the Tomb of King David, discovered during the church's restoration. Then, explore the birthplace of Jesus in Bethlehem, and have lunch during the tour before heading to the beautiful Dead Sea, where you can swim, relax and enjoy the salty water. At the end of the day, you will be taken back to Taba to cross the border and then fly to Hurghada. We will welcome you in Hurghada and take you to your hotel with a modern, air-conditioned vehicle.

Travel underneath the Sisters of Zion Convent, and see the ancient pavement engraved with games the Roman soldiers played long ago, and note the starting point of Via Dolorosa (the Way of the Cross.)
