We meet at 12 noon and the shuttle departs at 12.30 pm. Drop off at your accommodation in San Ignacio town.

. Transfer from Flores Guatemala to Caye Caulker Belize includes Bus Service and ferry Service . We board at 6:00 in Flores . Immigration forms will be issued to enter Belize . Tickets will be given for the ferry that will transport us from Belize City to Caye Caulker or San Pedro Amberguis . Information on the mechanism of the trip will be given . We drove for two hours to get to the Guatemalan border with Belize . At the border, it is necessary to get off the bus for immigration procedures . Immigration and Customs procedures are personal as well as baggage handling . If any Passenger has any problem with Immigration, a waiting time of 20 minutes will be given. . We boarded the bus again and continued for approximately two and a half hours to get to Belize City, specifically to San Pedro Belize Express Water Taxi . At San Pedro Belize Express Water Taxi we check our Ferry tickets and get our boarding pass . We board the Ferry at the nearest exit, the journey is approximately 50 minutes to reach our destination Caye Caulker and for San Pedro Amberguis an hour and a half . The Driver It will give information about the Immigration and Customs procedures as well as when arriving in San Pedro Belize Express Water Taxi in Belize City. NOTE. We start our shuttle ride meeting inside the Belize Water taxi terminal building at the Atlanta Express Travel shop. From there we head to the Western Border/ Guatemala before making a brief stop in San Ignacio to let off and collect other passengers. Border crossing can take anywhere from 10 minutes to 45 minutes depending on the number of people crossing on the day. Once you are through with Customs/Immigration on the Belize side, our driver will accompany you mid-point between both borders, and a handover process will happen with our Guatemalan operator, who will take over from here. As per Guatemalan regulations, a Guatemalan operator carries out all these services. The tour company we work with has been with us for several years and is highly professional and experienced. After the border crossing enjoy a scenic ride to the Island of Flores Peten. Drop off in front of the I Love Peten sign.

Transportation Depart from San Ignacio at 9:30 am. We offer a free hotel pick-up within San Ignacio Town Limits. A two Hour driver from San Ignacio with a comfortable and air-conditioned vehicle will take you direct to the water taxi.

When you arrive at the national park, get fitted out with helmets, jackets, lights, paddles. Begin the forest nature walk to the riverside where the kayaks are located, making 3 river crossings along the way. Choose from a single or tandem kayak then get out onto the water.  As you begin to kayak, head upstream towards the caves, admiring the formations and practicing your paddling. Stop at a scenic location for a swim in a natural pool. Then, paddle downstream through a network of 5 caves encountering rapids, stalactites, stalagmites, and a waterfall along the way. Eventually, exit the caves and continue paddling downstream with sunshine hitting your face. Enjoy the scenery and listen to the birds, until you arrive at the parking lot. For cruise passengers, choose to include an additional ziplining activity when booking and zoom across the lush rainforest canopy prior to the kayaking adventure. For Hotel guest choose to add on the options with Zipline and 30 minutes time or the Crystal Cave and add one and half hour more of exploring this sparkling cave with swimming holes and huge crystallized formations. Finally, board the van and return to Belize City, with drop-off at Cruise Ship Terminal or at your hotel lobby, depending on option selection. there is an option to purchase lunch at the Cave parking Area. Meet and greet your guide, then board the van. The drive is one hour to the cave park. everyone uses a helmet, light and jacket. Then a 20-minute walk thru the forest, crossing the river, waist deep, along the path. Arriving at the caves. Optional swim time here. Everyone sits in a spacious tube with head rest and the guide links everyone together and maneuvers the tubes downstream, navigating thru several cave systems and pausing to show off many formations and waterfall. Then exit the caves onto the open river. Continue downstream for another 20 minutes listening to the sounds in the forest. Arriving at the car park area. Here there are many options to purchase at the giftshops, restaurants and bar. Then it's a relaxing drive back to the port. Second Crystal Cave option: Great for active families, like to swim and hike, minimum age 13 for children. Meet and greet your guide, then board the van. The drive is one hour to the cave park. The guide hands everyone a helmet, light and jacket. Then a 20-minute walk thru the forest, crossing the river, waist deep, along the path. Arriving at the caves. Everyone sits in a tube with head rest and the guide links everyone together and maneuvers the tubes downstream, navigating thru several cave systems and pausing to show off many formations and waterfall. Swim in the Crystal Clear Pools then walk into the Crystal Cave and explore this cave with beautiful swimming pools, and many crystallize formations. Continue downstream for another 20 minutes listening to the sounds in the forest. Arriving at the car park area. Here there are many options to purchase from the giftshops, restaurants and bar. Then its a relaxing drive back to the port. Third Cave-tubing and Zipline Option: Fantastic for active families, requires climbing lots of steps, swimming, hiking, maximum waistline 46 inches for the Zipline, minimum height for children cave tubing 40 inches. Meet and greet your guide, then board the van. The drive is one hour to the cave park. The guide hands everyone a helmet, light and jacket. Then a 20-minute walk thru the forest, crossing the river, waist deep, along the path. Arriving at the caves. Swim time, then Everyone sits in their big tube with head rest and the guide links everyone together and maneuvers the tubes downstream, navigating thru several cave systems and pausing to show off many formations and waterfall. Then exit the caves onto the open river. Continue downstream for another 20 minutes. For the Zipline part, zip on a low zipline "chicken run" 20 feet off the ground, then walk up some steps on the hillside and onward to 5 lines each on high platforms with zips up to 1000 feet long above the Rainforest and Rivers. On your way to Altun Ha, enjoy a panoramic city tour and see all the points of interest, such as the old colonial-style buildings that still stand in Belize City. See the light house, the Belize sign, the wealthy portions of the city called the Kings Park zone, the school district, the hospital, the central Bank of Belize, and the prime minister’s home. Drive north for about one hour to the Mayan temples. On your way, see the different ecosystems of flora and fauna. Altun Ha was an important Mayan religious and trading center dating back to 200 BC. The site was first excavated in 1963 and researchers believe that it was once home to 10,000 people.  At the site, enjoy a guided tour of the entire ancient city, learn about its history and construction style of the buildings. Travel back in time and try to imagine how the Mayan people lived.

Not Included * After completing the formalities in Belize Immigration we walk approximately 100 meters and enter the Immigration Building of Guatemala to complete our entry formalities to Guatemala. * In this place we will find stores where you can buy drinks and snacks. * At the end of our immigration and customs formalities we board our transportation unit again (our drivers will coordinate and make sure that everything is in order). * We drive for approximately 2 hours to reach our destination La Isla de Flores, the stop will be specifically in front of the Yo Amo Peten sign. * Upon arrival to Flores Island we will give you information about tours to the different archaeological sites and transfers to other destinations. **The payment of Belize departure tax is not included in the price of this transfer,
