Amazing experience! Would go back to Cairns just for this alone. Our only gripe is not having enough time in Kuranda as the restaurant we went to were slow on delivery so we had to rush through to catch the first train back.
Good day out with great views Kuranda village is a lovely place to shops eat & drink The train ride back was interesting and amazing how they worked on the tunnels making all this years ago for us all to enjoy
There was a power cut at the second stop on the gondola on the way up so we missed any times had at Kuranda as we had booked the 2pm train back to Freshwater.
It was fabulous. The scenery was even better than expected. Kuranda was lovely too.... the only downside was the heat and humidity. Great experience though.
Was a full adventure, wish we had more time at Kuranda Markets but we chose our tour to fit more experience in rather then shopping
