As other people didn’t turn up for the guided tour we were lucky enough to have a private tour. Our tour guide was very nice and very informative, you could tell she loved her job as a tour guide. We learnt so much about the history of Hungary and St. Stephen’s. If we were to walk round ourselves we wouldn’t have understood much of it and feel that with the tour it gave us an excellent insight. We really enjoyed our tour and the guide was lovely it was a pleasure. Thank you so much!

Very interesting Tour. Found out lots of interesting information about the History of The Basilica. The tour guide was very knowledgeable about the various artefacts within the building; giving many stories of what had happened throughout History; and how religion activity has changed over the course of theyears in Hungary. Thoroughly recommended.

The opera tour was cancelled due to the coronavirus, however we had a lovely lady called Alia. She was amazing! Lovely and polite and took us on another tour. She was friendly and told us SO MUCH about the surroundings over Pest and the history. She even spent an extra hour with us showing us around. Would highly recommended her.

The lady was very informative and polite thoroughly enjoyed listening to the history behind the basilica even placed coins to illuminate the hand of St Stephen. Then after your tour have all the time to take photos. Also answered all Our questions too !

Excellent guide (Gregory?) who spoke very good English and was very knowledgeable about the city. We had a bespoke tour of the city as he asked us which areas we wanted to see.
