Call to number provided about meeting points, very helpful on phone, and lucky we did as going to wait in different location. The bus was ok, stopped on arriving to Toledo to take a picture of Toledo which is amazing. Tour guide Jesus was very entertaining with his stories and history, giving us some tips. The tour was a little slow, because I speak both languages spanish and english I wanted to ho and see as much as possible. So we left Jesus and group after visiting couple monuments together. As we prefared to go on our own and a little faster, as city of Toledo has a lot to offer. We were given entrances to 7 monuments but he never gave us entrance to Cathedral which I have purchased, when arrived to Cathedral we had yo get entrance again. Better purchase tour without entrances and get there on your own pace.
Sol, the tour guide was in my opinion quite disorganized and was unable to sustain the attention and interests of the group. With limited time, she could have managed the tour better. At times we would be walking for long periods of time in extreme cold weather. We had to switch buses. She was knowledgeable but lacked people skills. I would prefer someone far pleasant and interesting. We were not able to visit the inside of churches except maybe for one so my goal to compare churches was not fulfilled.
The tour guide Patricia was good and knowledgeable. She spend good time explaining the monuments and history. We upgraded to include the Toledo cathedral tour. Were disappointed as this was the last stop and She spent very less time in here explaining. My recommendation is that just keep the 7 monument tour as is and buy your own tickets with the audio guide to cathedral. Overall she did a good job and recommended the only vegetarian restaurant to us in Toledo. Food was great.
Hello: this was a great tour and well worth it as many people told me it’s too complicated to do it yourself. So I was very happy with everything. Except as I was walking to find a seat on the bus, the driver started to move, and I fell quite hard on the floor. I don’t why he didn’t wait until I was safely in my seat. I didn’t say anything yet I felt bruising around my ribs after a few hours and for days after.
Very well organized tour. The bus ride took us less than an hour, the tour guide was excellent very well informative and fun, after we arrived they took us for a walking tour to check 3 of the monuments, then they gave us around 4 hours of free time to check the city. We finally left around 5:45pm.
