High Ropes Adventure Park in Charleston, South Carolina

2. High Ropes Adventure Park in Charleston, South Carolina

Your experience begins at check-in, where friendly and highly trained staff check you in for the ultimate Charleston ropes park adventure. The adventure park is conveniently located just minutes from the historic downtown Charleston SC, and Folly Beach SC. One of the experienced crew members will individually fit each person in your group with a climbing harness and helmet. Head off to ground school where you will learn how to use the climbing equipment, which you are clipped into at all times, even while transferring from one element to another. It's a challenge by choice adventure, so what you take on is up to you. Getting down off the course is an entire adventure in itself. People have the opportunity to jump from an 35 ft. elevated platform, and to experience the adrenaline rush of leaping out of your comfort zone first hand. The owner of the high-ropes course, Hugh, will greet you at the park, and be available to climb with your party. My dad and I flew Friday, September 23rd and we had the best time! We’ve previously flown on other helicopter tours, but never one over the ocean . This was a special tour, all thanks to our friendly and knowledgeable pilot who also helped to serve as our tour guide. It was a great way to kick off our long weekend getaway, and definitely helped us to get a lay of the land!

Informative captain, comfortable boat and great tour of the marsh. Everyone in our group of seven adults enjoyed it and many said it was the highlight of their week at Folly beach

This excursion was the highlight of our trip. Capt. Will gave the perfect amount of information. I would highly recommend this tour!

Chloe was very knowledgeable about the sea life and nature along with the land.
