Ivan was an amazing tour guide. He was informed, charismatic, helpful to those who struggled to maneuver their way through the very challenging trails, and funny! This hike is not for the faint of heart — your shoes will get stuck in the mud as you trek though, you will have to go through water (completely so don’t carry anything on you, just towels + food for the black portion), and will have to climb through and over rocks. However, if you’re in good physical condition and have stamina, this is a truly amazing once in a lifetime experience and we are grateful that we had Ivan and the other guides to help us through the rainforest!

The guides were really friendly and funny, the sunsets and bioluminescent plankton were stunning. What a fun little adventure! If you're worried about covid, know that to make sure it's as dark as possible for the bioluminescence to be visible, there's a single tarp that's used to cover all of the kayaks' occupants at one time. Bring a mask - still worth seeing. Would definitely do this one again!

The hike required a lot of physical demand but our tour guides were very interactive and helped the group a long the way. Claire and Bryan were very informative and attentive and made sure everyone was okay. Make sure to bring sneakers and light clothing that you don’t mind getting muddy

Thanks to the concerted effort from Julie in the office, Frankie, Louis and Mitchell during the hike, and additional effort of several other individuals, we were able to enjoy the hike, as well as to catch our flight on time (after the hike)!

This was my favorite activity I did in Puerto Rico, the tour guides were super hands on and helpful not to mention super hott I highly recommend taking this tour with Brian …..10 stars
