9AM Pick up from your Brussels hotel and drive to Namur, the capital of Wallonia. Picture stop at the Citadel (if weather permits), a military fortress located at the top of the hill with amazing views overlooking the town and the Meuse valley. On the way, your driver-guide * will tell you about Belgium, about the Ardens and Wallonia. You will have a good introduction to the region, its culture, geography and history. Proceed to Bastogne and stop for lunch (not included) on the Mc Aulif square. We then go to the forest "Bois Saint Jacques" and walk around the "FoxHoles". See the Mardasson Memorial and the War Museum. The self-guided tour through the museum is highly interactive. Here you will step back in time and experience the reality of the Battle of the Bulge. From the causes of the Battle to its dramatic consequences, you will be immersed in a highly interactive experience.Return to Brussels at around 6PM (2h-drive from Bastogne). *Please be aware that our driver-guide is not a military history expert but a licensed country/city guide who will give you a wealth of information about Belgium, the region of the Ardens and Bastogne.

Experience a unique tour of the historic Battle of the Bulge sites, guided by a historian, who will not only take you to the museums but also let you explore a bit of the local culture and partake in a unique experience. All tours are customized based on your needs/wishes. All food and drinks are provided by us (lunch and snacks). Bring your camera and comfortable hiking shoes. The minimum age for this tour is 16.

We invite you to follow in the footsteps of one of the most important battles of the Second World War, from the visit of the American cemetery of Henri-Chapelle where nearly 8000 soldiers are buried, continuing along the route taken by the Kampfgruppe Peiper, infamous for the abuses it committed on its way near Malmedy to finish in La Gleize where it had to abandon their tanks for lack of fuel and where one of them is still visible. We will continue our visit to the Fraiture Barracks to discuss one of the many heroic acts carried out by American troops to slow down or halt the German advance at Parker's Crossroads. Finally, we will end the day with a final stop in Grandmenil where we can discover another remnant of this battle. On the second day of the visit, we will focus on Bastogne and its surroundings, on the fierce resistance of the 101st American Airborne Division and its Easy Company made famous by the Band of Brothers series from Steven Spielberg.
