Take part in a combination program of spiritual healing and spiritual cleansing at Tirta Empul temple. This 8-hour spiritual journey begins at your hotel in the morning, where you will be picked up and transferred to the temple to meet one of the best Balinese Shamans from Puri Negari. Healing by Balinese Shaman combines Yagna, Yatra, and Mantra healing practices. Yagna healing is performed to remove negative factors in your life, and to help you find peace and happiness. Mantra healing, performed by reciting mantras, clears lower vibrations from your system and elevates your energy. A mantra is a precise combination of sacred sounds forming a nucleus of spiritual energy that attracts high spiritual vibrations, leading to spiritual awakening and empowerment. Yatra healing is designed to remove afflictions that might be preventing you from obtaining a particular result. This can involve removing blockages in your career and bad intentions of your enemies, protecting you from negative forces, and aura healing and chakra balancing. This overall process is known as melukat by the locals and is carried out to spiritually purify the mind and soul. It can be done at any place considered holy by the Balinese, although the Tirta Empul (or Holy Spring Temple) is considered the most holy site for this cleansing.

After a cleansing ritual, the dead body is placed in a bamboo cage, locally known as ancak saji, which is placed under the Taru Menyan tree. Taru Menyan means nice smelling tree and it emanates a scent that neutralizes the smell of rotting bodies. It is from this tree that the name Trunyan is derived. It is only the bodies of married people that are placed in bamboo cages.  Continue your tour and visit another ancient village called Bayung Gede, which is believed to be the parent of all of the ancient villages in Bali. Many people come here to see the hanging newborn placentas that are unique to Bayung Gede. In Trunyan, bodies of the dead are laid on the ground unburied but here it is the placenta that is unburied. This is the only village in Indonesia that does this. Your journey will not be completed without a visit to Kehen Temple, which is a significant Hindu Temple in Bali. It is located on the slope of Bukit Bangli, which is believed to be the mother temple of Bangli. Incredible experience that I am grateful to have been able to live. I was alone, I had some apprehensions, my guide was Dharma, adorable, considerate, who puts you at ease and with beautiful mythological and philosophical stories to tell. Also talented photographer! I have great memories on my phone! Really nice meeting. The temples are magnificent big bonus for Titra Empul.. magical place.. The meeting with the healer was really very strong.. I'm not ready to forget.. I recommend the whole package!

Wayan was an amazing guide. He was very knowledgeable and answered all of our questions and taught us a great deal about Balinese culture. We had really great conversations. I also started to feel sick in the morning possibly from food I ate the night before and he took us to a pharmacy nearby to help my tummy. That was really kind of him and he was so nice and helpful the entire trip. I would definitely recommend Wayan and this tour.

It was an amazing experience - we thoroughly enjoyed every activity we did. It was well worth the money considering that these locations were quite spread out and it would've been difficult to coordinate without a tour guide. Our guide was Julie and she was so friendly and knowledgeable. I will definitely recommend her to friends and family visiting Bali.

Wow!! This tour was incredible, led by our tour guide Julie. She was so friendly and informative and taught us so much about the history of Bali and its traditions and even showed us a few local spots. I highly recommend this tour!
