Our guide was wonderful, with very fluent Spanish and clear explanations. The transport was comfortable and punctual. We arrived at the train market about 10 minutes before the train passed, it is really impressive to see how they pack everything up and the train passes just a few centimetres from your face. On the other hand, the floating market was completely unnecessary for us. Nowadays it is a tourist "show", they take you for a ride on a boat where they try to sell you everything from other boats, even taking photos with some animal (we are totally against this type of activity). Once you finish the boat ride you have free time to buy souvenirs or eat at one of the stalls. The essence of the floating market is completely lost as such.

Jenny is a very nice guide. She’s funny and tells (fun) facts about Thai culture beside information about the daytrip itself. Wish we had more time at the train market though. Essentially, you can walk halfway and then the train is already departing which means you have to return. It’s a bit too much of a rush in my opinion. The paddle boat at the floating market would be nice if not for all the diesel powered boats that are also going around. You just get fumes into your face because of that.

It was magical, funny and interesting! Our guide Eggi or "the man with the hat" was adorable and allowed us to learn more about Thai cuisine through the market visit, about Thai history and culture. But more than that we had an unforgettable day, it's crazy to see a group of so many nationalities become one for a day. A very nice family day! Thank you very much!
