Florida City: Ultimate Florida Bundle Self-Driving Tour

Start by downloading the Action Tour Guide app, which will function as your personal tour guide, audio tour, and map. Purchase one tour per car, not per person. Everyone listens together! Note: In this bundle, each tour is 30+ miles long and takes 2-3 hours to complete. Once downloaded, you can choose which tours to do in what order. You can do them all at once or save them for separate visits! Your tour of the Keys starts at Key Largo and goes all the way to Key West. Along the way, you’ll see some unbelievable wildlife, from marine life at America’s only living coral reef to wild flocks of flamingos if you’re lucky. You’ll cruise across densely populated Keys packed with shops and restaurants and almost totally uninhabited ones full of unspoiled nature. And, of course, you’ll pass by tons of white sand beaches perfect for taking a dip in the warm Atlantic. Finally, you’ll end up in Key West, the perfect place to catch a sunset surrounded by great food and music. Your tour of the Everglades starts just northeast of the park. Driving through the park, you’ll learn how this unique landscape formed, what tribes once called it home, and much more. Want to learn about the Everglades’ unique wildlife? You’ll hear about gators, crocs, wading birds, and more—including some creatures of local legend! You’ll also pass by incredible boardwalk trails like the Gumbo Limbo and Anhinga Trails, which let you stroll through the lush wilderness and see the local critters in their natural habitat. If you bring a boat, you’ll also find a canoe trail perfect for adventurous travelers. Plus, get your camera ready for stops like the Pa-Hay-Okee Lookout Tower—which boasts a panoramic vista of the “river of grass”—and West Lake Trail, featuring clear views across a large and often very active lake. Finally, you’ll arrive at Eco Pond, a favorite haunt of wading birds, softshell turtles, and alligators. Your tour of the Everglades concludes just past this pond. Your tour of Big Cypress begins on the outskirts of Miami. While you drive, you’ll get to know the Seminole tribe who fought to hold onto this land and hear about the modern-day struggle over protecting Big Cypress from destruction. You’ll walk the scenic trails of Kirby Storter and H.P. Williams Parks, featuring incredible subtropical surroundings and plenty of wildlife. Or, if you’re more adventurous, you can wade into the swamp on the Gator Hook Trail. Meanwhile, your tour will take you along the secluded Loop Road, where rumors abound about gangsters and musical legends. Plus, on your way, visit the smallest post office in America! The Big Cypress tour concludes at the Nathaniel P. Reed Visitor Center. All Four tours offer something extraordinary. So see what you’re missing! The bundle includes the following tours: 1. Everglades & Big Cypress Self Guided Driving Tour Bundle

Everglades & Big Cypress Self Guided Driving Tour Bundle

Start by downloading the Action Tour Guide app, which will function as your personal tour guide, audio tour, and map. Purchase one tour per car, not per person. Everyone listens together! Once downloaded, your tour of the Everglades begins in Florida City. From there, you’ll drive to the park and pass an alligator farm on the way! Heading toward the park, you’ll hear how the Everglades formed and get acquainted with the ancient Calusa tribe who once called the wetland their home. As soon as you enter the park you’ll get to visit the Gumbo Limbo and Anhinga Trails. With plentiful shade and plentiful wildlife, these are must-see trails. Next, you’ll see the Pinelands Trail, which cuts a winding path through beautiful hardwood forests. On your way to Pa-Hay-Okee Lookout Tower, which offers panoramic views of the Everglades, you’ll learn about 20th century plans to drain and destroy this wetland, and how activists foiled those designs. Get a crash course in Everglades cryptids like the Alligator King and Bigfoot’s cousin, Skunk Ape, as you make your way to the Mahogany Hammock Trail. There, you’ll find the largest living mahogany tree in the United States! After that is Nine Mile Pond Trail, a canoe trail that’s great if you’re itching to get out onto the water. You’ll also find out about new threats to the Everglades, like air pollution and invasive pythons. Then there are Snake Bight Trail and West Lake Trail, which offer some great views of the water—and the creatures that live there. These are followed by the more challenging Christian Point Trail for more adventurous hikers. Finally, you’ll arrive at Eco Pond, which is often packed with wading birds, alligators, and softshell turtles. Your Everglades tour concludes just beyond this pond. Your tour of Big Cypress begins near the entrance to the preserve on the outskirts of Miami. As you pass the Miccosukee Indian Village, you’ll learn about the history of the Seminole tribe who still live in south Florida. Soon, you’ll reach the Tree Snail Hammock Trail, a famously good place to spot a rare species of snail sometimes called “living jewels.” Then you’ll continue on to the remote Loop Road, surrounded by lush greenery. Here, you’ll learn about the road’s history, including its rumored connection to gangster Al Capone. Next up is Gator Hook Trail, where adventurous hikers can wade into the swamp and truly immerse themselves in the wilderness. After that, you’ll find out about a plan to build an airport over Big Cypress, and how locals stopped it from happening. Then you’ll want to stop by Kirby Storter Roadside Park. That’s followed quickly by another roadside park known to be a fantastic place for spotting wildlife. Then there’s the “smallest post office in America,” a quirky stop where you can pick up a one-of-a-kind souvenir! Finally, you’ll reach the Nathaniel P. Reed Visitor Center. Your tour of Big Cypress concludes here.

We had a very good time here at this happening place. First of all, there’s a bar there and you can buy food, popcorn and other beverages too. There are a ton of video games. There is indoor bumper carts and out go carts to race. There is laser tag and it is pretty cool. The area where you can buy food and eat is a very good size and so is the bar area. I had a blast because I took the kids too and they enjoyed themselves. There’s plenty of parking and it is right by the airport. I do recommend this place for all ages because I was playing video games too with the kids and grabbing drinks at the bar

My daughter and I had the best beach day !! It was a wonderful experience!
