The history part of the golden temple as well as the 1919 tragedy was perfectly explained by our knowledgeable guide - and this is a key issue understanding the context of Sikhism. Like from when the (not yet golden temple) in 1604 was built, the numbers of Sikh Gurus to the events finally leading up to the important partition of India and Pakistan from England in 1947. We found the golden temple very amazing and beautiful. We would have liked to allocate more time in the temple, instead of the part about the charity work in the community kitchen. Very nice experience in the evening, beautiful lights and atmosphere.

A wonderful day with our guide Pannu. Amritsar is a fabulous destination with so much to see. The Golden Temple was absolutely amazing as was Jallianwala Bagh, The Indo-Pakistan flag lowering ceremony at the Wagha Border was so much fun and just walking Heritage Street area was a feast for the eyes and ears. We absolutely loved Amritsar and our guide Pannu was a real gentleman. He was able to explain a lot of the history and culture in easy to understand English. I would highly recommend this tour. We loved it.

We had the pleasure of touring Amritsar and the Wagah Border, accompanied by our exceptional guide, Mr. Sultan Singh. His extensive knowledge of Sikhism greatly enriched our experience, providing us with valuable insights into the region's rich cultural and spiritual heritage. He also guided us through the vibrant local market, showcasing its beauty and unique charm. Overall, it was a memorable and enjoyable experience.

The tour was really interesting and a good balance of history, religion and cultural discussions. We learned a lot about history of Sikhism which was fascinating. The guide, Hardik, was friendly and knowledgeable. Highly recommend.

Amazing tour with our guide Jissa! Highly recommended
