Overall rating
The trip was great. At first we were very skeptical about seeing the Northern Lights at all, as the weather was pretty poor. Our guide "Simon" drove us to a small parking bay just before the Finnish border. We stayed there for a short while until, after about 20 minutes, we unpacked our cameras and saw the first lights. We stayed there for about 2.5 hours, were photographed for free by the guides and were able to warm up by a campfire with warm drinks and biscuits. All in all, the tour was more than satisfactory! We would 100% recommend the tour in terms of price/performance.
It was a beautiful experience. The two guides were nice and very engaging with the photos. They also told a little about the phenomenon. At the beginning the lights were very faint, but over time they became stronger and we could see them dancing for a long time. We would recommend this tour.
I appreciated the day in Tromso camp. we started with a snowmobile in a full nature environment. we then continued with a lunch with a local dish. I passed 3h on site. the limiting point is the time doing the snowmobile (1h15 to divide by 2 drivers) that was short for the price.
We are a family with a kid and had a great experience. The guides were super friendly, we had a snow storm which did the experience very good.
Stunning! Small group 3hr round trip trek. Taken to a carefully chosen location and not the usual trail haunts.
