Take part in a half–day cooking class in a local kitchen, after you explore the local market to select your ingredients. Choose from 2 half–day classes: a the morning class starting at 9:30 AM or an afternoon class starting at 2:30 PM. For a more flexible menu, choose the Special Sunday class. See below for a sample of your menu: Monday: in the morning class, enjoy tom yam kung, phad thai, green curry, and mango sticky rice. In the afternoon class, prepare chicken satay, tom kha kai, phad see-ew, and mango sticky rice. Tuesday: the morning class will prepare fish cake, papaya salad, panang curry, and deep fried banana. In the afternoon, prepare tom yam kung, phad thai, green curry, and deep fried banana. Wednesday: in the morning, cook tom yam kung, phad thai, green curry, and banana in coconut milk. In the afternoon, cook fried chicken cashew nut, tom kha kai, fried basil leaves,  and banana in coconut milk. Thursday: the morning menu includes spring rolls, paneang curry, tom kha kai, and mango sticky rice. The afternoon class will prepare tom yam kung, phad thai, green curry, and mango sticky rice. Friday: join the morning class to prepare tom yam kung, phad thai, green curry, and deep fried banana. Choose an afternoon class for fried chicken in oyster sauce, spring roll, tom kha kai, and deep fried banana. Saturday: In the morning class, cook massaman curry, spring rolls, tom yam kung, and banana in coconut milk. In the afternoon, prepare red curry, larb, tom kah kai, and banana in coconut milk. Special Sundays: Choose 3 Thai main course dishes and a Thai dessert.

Continue on your culinary adventure by working your way over a bowl of rich Hokkien noodles with a pair of chopsticks (don't worry, cutlery's available too) from a little restaurant that's been serving up the good stuff for decades. Don't worry, it's not over yet. Your guide will take you to a local indoor market famed for its fresh spring rolls filled with cured pork and topped with sweet sauce and pickles and coconut pork skewers served with rich peanut satay and zingy ajat cucumber relish. It's unthinkable not to visit Phuket Old Town without delving into the sweets. Your guide will take you for a particularly special Phuket-style crepe cooked over fiery coals, a refreshing and vivid iced dessert and finishing on sweet milky tea and flaky rotis at a joint that's been knocking them out for years. Return back to the central market where the tour ends. It was absolutely amazing! I am even gluten free (intolerant not celiac) and they were able to tell me the few things I couldn’t eat and make a few things with different noodles for me. The guide was so funny and welcoming. I learned so much about all The different types of Thai food, got to taste them and learned about the culture. Definitely would do it again

this is really a must-try day trip. it ends at the chalong bay rum distillery which is the perfect ending to an eventful day where we see varied attractions. the tour guide Joy and driver Jackie were very friendly courteous and knowledgeable and added to the experience.

Our tour guide, Pema, was so knowledgeable about the local history and culture. The authentic food was delicious and plentiful…. definitely for the more adventurous eater.

Spicy was an excellent tour guide. I am a woman travelling alone and she always made me feel included. Great energy and very memorable trip.
