From there, continue across the Kaiser-Joseph-Street, the former grand boulevard of medieval Freiburg, and head towards the Freiburg Minster, the cultural center of the historical old town and an exceptional example of medieval Gothic. Discover the bizarrely shaped gargoyles, the delicate steeple, and the colorful farmers' market on Minster Square. Explore some of the historic sights around the impressive cathedral. See the historic department store, the Alte Wache, the Haus zum schönen Eck and many more. Descend with the rack railway to Rigi Kaltbad and from there take the cable car to Weggis. Finally, return by boat to Lucerne. Please note: from 4 March– 28 March 2024 the cable car from Rigi Kaltbad to Weggis is not operating due to maintenance work. During this time The excursion to Rigi will be made via Vitznau for both the outbound and return journeys. You are not bound to specific times and can choose the times for yourself.
