What people are saying about Portsmouth, UK

We enjoyed our visit to the Mary Rose Museum very much, from the very start it was brilliantly done, Henry welcoming you was very well done,. When the ship went into battle., my goodness it was so realistic and when it went down, it really felt as if you were on it, . All round the museum the staff were so knowledgable and so interesting to listen to. Well done to everyone it is well worth a visit, the only downside for us was the videos on the ship were not working, our friend who had never been before thought it was good anyway, but we feel the videos just bring it all to life. Hopefully they will be working again soon.

The ship was wonderful and extremely well presented and conserved. It is clear that a lot of work has gone into keeping it and it’s resources such as the guns and cannons in top condition. Great warnings about remembering to duck too as the ceilings do get lower as you move to the lower decks of the ship. A great day out and perfect for an 8 year old plus to start learning more history.

Great Couple of hours walking around the museum, brilliant bit o history regarding the ship and its artifacts. Warm and pleasant staff to help you, and somewhere to get food and a rest after, I certainly will be visiting again in the future, a good thing not to miss.

Great place to visit for all the family. The exhibition has been done to make it interesting for everyone.

Simply brilliant. Exhibition excellent. Staff very helpful.
