Angkor Tour on a Vespa Scooter

4. Angkor Tour on a Vespa Scooter

On the back of your Vespa, you will comfortably navigate the magnificent Temple City of Angkor to explore its most famous, beautiful and astounding temples. You will also disover many hidden jewels not everyone is lucky enough to see. This tour will give you a real sense of the ancient culture and its people and what they are all about. The Angkor tour is special because it is personal. The founder of the local operator, Ms. Akim, grew up right in Wat Angkor Kang Chuong, the spiritual heart of Angkor nestled within the walls of Angkor Wat. There she was raised by her grandfather; the last of three generations of Chief Monks that guided the spiritual life of this entire wondrous Temple City. Your official and professional guide will tell you about Akim’s life as a young girl and how day-to-day life continued in Angkor Wat after the Khmer Rouge. Hear tales about the omnipresent ghosts, burials, bicycles and the thread linking her proud Khmer heritage. As well as seeing the famous Angkor Wat, Bayon and Ta Phrom temples, dive deeper into Cambodian culture by meeting local craft villagers at Angkor. Share a classic Cambodian lunch, with 4 to 5 courses so that you get to try some Khmer favorites. The day ends exploring the most famous of the temples–Angkor Wat. Following your guide, you’ll approach this amazing scene from a less traveled route. At this time of day the low sunlight sets the temple alight, making for an awe inspiring sight and a photo opportunity like no other. At around 4:00 PM, the Angkor Wat tour will finish with a comfortable ride back to your hotel or any other drop off location in Siem Reap.

Really great fun would definitely recommend it. I was luck to be only one booked for the afternoon tour. After showing I could ride the bike. A Honda dream 125cc bike we set off on dirt tracks. Through country side you would not find yourself. Really enjoyed it seeing rural Cambodia. It was a circular trip and some road work in traffic but the guide was great so just a case of following him. You will get dirty as the roads are all very dusty but well worth it if you want to get out of the city. Pick up was by motorcycle too

That was a beautiful tour with Bros, a very attentive instructor and driver, who could provide us with explanations about the surrounding and showed us the countryside of Cambodia with ea few stops in small villages. Since our group was just of 2 people it’s been quite familiiar and to me it’s been a perfect entry into my holidays here.

Great tour to the highlights of Ankor Wat with delicious local food (menu) including all drinks and a good guide. Perfect for those who only want to spend a day in Ankor Wat or want to get a first overview. Category: "It was worth it!"

Great way to see another side of Siem Reap. The tour guide was amazing and super attentive. It’s the perfect activity if you really want to get out of the city and see some amazing scenery.

Great to get off the beaten track and see some of the countryside. Be sure to wear long sleeves or reapply sunscreen, it’s a long day out in the sun!
