I liked the kayaks very much. Beautifull views, tranquile, you are pedalling by yourslef all the way (the kayaks are personal, not for pairs). Has a bit of asrenalin, but not too complex to handle. The cave was less intersting.

This tour is a long day but excellent! Well paced. Saw many amazing sights. Good amount of detail
Depart Chiang Mai and journey into the mountains of northern Thailand to visit the ethical Lanna Kingdom Elephant Sanctuary (approximately 1-hour drive from the city center). Upon arrival, learn about the elephant conservation program and benefit from an introductory talk and the chance to interact with the rescued animals. Get the chance to give them a hug and discover how to prepare a healthy meal to feed them. Go for a walk around the sanctuary with the elephants and stop to give them a mud bath to keep their body temperature down and protect them from parasites. Feed them before enjoying a homemade lunch at a restaurant inside the sanctuary.
The tour was quite nice, but we would have appreciated more contact with the elephants. It is more to see them in freedom, than interacting with them. Most of the time you prepare food for them.
Depart Chiang Mai and travel to the temple of Wat Phra That Doi Suthep on Doi Suthep mountain. Follow in the footsteps of the pilgrims who climb up 309 steps to the stupa on the hilltop. Get spectacular views of Chiang Mai city and its surroundings. Then, visit a village and museum of the ethnic Hmong hill tribe, located inside the boundaries of the Doi Suthep-Pui National Park. Learn more about the life of the tribe, known for their colorful costumes and handicraft traditions. Return to Chiang Mai and get dropped off at your hotel.

Learn more about its unconventional design and construction, and admire the new temple of Wat Rong Sua Ten. Enjoy a lunch of authentic food from Thailand before visiting the Black House Museum (Baan Si Dum) to see an interesting collection of artifacts by the Thai artist, Thawan Duchanee. Go for a walk in the family-friendly Singha Park and marvel at the tea plantations before returning to Chiang Mai for hotel drop off at around 7:00 PM.
Our guide, Moon, was very friendly and knowledgeable. Our group was small, 6 people including the guide, so we were able to go through the tour pretty quick while seeing everything. Our tour also started pretty early, about an hour earlier than others, but that made the difference in the crowd size. We went to a buffet for lunch that was mediocre.
Benefit from hotel pick-up from your hotel in Chiang Mai city center. This trip will bring you to Sankampang Village where the villagers try to maintain their weaving traditions for the next generation. You will learn and experience the process from the beginning to the final stage of the master fabric piece where you can try weaving by yourself. The program also offers a local dessert cooking class which, again, you will be the one who is involved in the cooking process. The trip is the combination of the village visit together with things that support the community including the Fishery Project and the Forestry Project. Lunch with drinking water with the villagers is included in the program. After the day is completed, you will be transferred back to your hotel in Chiang Mai.
Depart Chiang Mai for Doi Inthanon National Park to see Thailand’s highest mountain in the tropical forests south of the city. Go to the highest peak for a panoramic view and pay your respects at the shrine of King Intharawichayanont. Next, enjoy a short hike along the Angkha Natural Trail. See the twin stupas that commemorate the birthday of King Bhumibol and Queen Sirikit. Go to a local market of the Hmong hill tribe before visiting the Royal Agricultural Research Center, set up to support local projects in place of opium farming. After lunch at a local restaurant, explore the Karen hill tribe village of Mae Klang Luang and get a stunning view of the Vachiratharn Waterfall.
I really enjoyed this trip, our tour guide was very informative. My favorite part was the water fall. It was utterly stunning.

Great experience! You can get so close to the elephants, cuddle, feed them.. Just awsome! My personal favorite is Tang, 4 year old elephant, she is so kind and sweet.
