We were disappointed to learn on the day of our tour that due to the ever-changing travel conditions currently, our tour would be combined with another company’s tour that was to visit, in addition to KrKa NP, a village and do an optional wine tasting. The tour itself was fine, and we ended up having a nice day with the other company’s guide (who was very kind and knowledgeable). However, Danielja, the Booker employee with whom we worked, saved the day. To make up for our experience, she offered to take us on an additional tour the following day, at no cost, which she led and ended up being a highlight of our time in Split. This would have been a very different review had it not been for Danielja’s professionalism and exceptional customer service.
Luka was an amazing tour guide, biggest GOT fan, was able to answer all of my questions and more. I got Iucky, I was the only one who took the tour that day, and it was simply perfect. Luka showed me exactly from which spot each scene was filmed, and with his enthusiasm and expertise you could really see it! If you love Game of Thrones this is the tour for you!
Tour guide was knowledgeable about architecture and lovely person. Do this trip early on your visit to Split. I personally would have like some more focus on military history incorporated throughout. Maybe find a way to walk through the change of rulers with the evolution of architecture changes of the palace.
The tour was fantastic and Sandra was so knowledgeable and enthusiastic, and was able to share her perspective as a Split local which we really enjoyed. She really went over and above to make sure we enjoyed the tour. Her passion for the history of Split was clearly evident and we loved it.
This was a great day trip from Split. The waterfalls are beautiful and it was really nice to get out and explore more of Croatia. The wine tasting at the end was definitely worth it and only an extra €3!
